In the heart of the bustling Victorian city of Windhaven, a humble clockmaker named
Elias lived a quiet life surrounded by gears, springs, and the soothing tick-tock
of his creations. His shop, "Eternal Time," was renowned not for its luxury but for
the precision and care he infused into every piece. But Elias had a secret—one that
kept him awake on most nights.

Years ago, Elias discovered a peculiar pocket watch in a dusty attic of an


abandoned manor. The watch was no ordinary timepiece. It could stop time, rewind
it, or leap forward by a few seconds. The clockmaker spent years unraveling its
mysteries, perfecting his control over its powers. He used it sparingly, only to
prevent accidents or to aid those in need. Yet, the knowledge of the watch's
abilities gnawed at him.

One fateful evening, a desperate thief barged into his shop, demanding money. The
young man, trembling and desperate, was no more than twenty. Elias saw the fear in
his eyes and, with a slight twist of the pocket watch, rewound the moment. Instead
of the thief entering with a gun, Elias greeted him at the door, offering warmth
and conversation. Over time, the man’s life took a different course, one devoid of
crime.

Elias knew his actions were risky. But as the years passed, he found solace in the
