The Clockmaker’s Secret
In a quiet town nestled between two mountains, there lived an old clockmaker named Elias. His
shop was small, but every clock inside was a masterpiece. Locals often wondered why his clocks
seemed to never need repairs — they always kept perfect time. One stormy night, a young traveler
entered Elias's shop, drenched from head to toe. The boy carried a broken pocket watch, one that
had stopped ticking years ago. Elias examined it and smiled knowingly. “This,” he said softly, “is no
ordinary watch.” As Elias worked, the watch began to glow faintly. The boy gasped, but the old man
only whispered, “Time has a way of finding those who seek it.” When the hands struck midnight, the
boy found himself standing on a sunlit street — fifty years in the past. No one knows what
happened to the boy after that night. But if you listen closely in Elias’s shop, sometimes you can
hear the ticking of a watch that belongs to another time.
