Subject: - Annual General Transfers/postings of Central Labour Service

· Officers-reg.

The undersigned is directed to enclose herewith list of CLS officers, who are
due for transfer as per the new Transfer/Posting Policy dated 05.05.2022 attached as
Annexure-! for Annual General Transfer proposed for the year 2022. List of vacancies in
the various grades is attached as Annexure-II.

2. An online Portal with URL i.e. <clstransfer.labour.gov.in> has been developed for
transfer/posting of CLS officers. Login ID for the CLS officer would be initial letters of his
full name followed by D.O.B. For example if name of an officer is "Amit Kumar" and his
D.O.B is "30.11.1991", then his user ID would be ak30111991. Onetime password would
be User@123. Officers are required to change their password immediately after first login.
The information/data e.g. name, D.O.B, hometown, present place of posting, history of
previous postings etc. in respect of all the CLS officers have already been uploaded on the
Portal. CLS officers are required to get this data validated by 13.05.2022 and inform the
CLS Division by email communication. Officer may note that preferences for the place of
posting through online portal should be submitted w.e.f. 14.05.2022 i.e. after validation of
their requisite data. Any preference given before 14.05.2022 will not be entertained.

3. All CLS Officers, due for transfer as per new Transfer Policy, are requested to
submit their preferences through an email (cls1-mole@gov.in) in the attached format and
also through online portal developed for this purpose by 25.05.2022 [05:00 P.M.]. The
request received after the stipulated date/time will not be entertained.

4. Attention of the officers· is invited to following points while giving preferences for
posting/transfers:-

i) The officers must indicate their choice(s) only for the station(s) and not for any
specific post/stream.

 ii) The officers should ensure that the preferences given by them are strictly in
accordance with the policy guidelines laid down in the transfer policy dated
05.05.2022;
iii) No Officer shall bring outside or political influence to further his request for
posting of his choice as stipulated in Rule 20 of CCS (Conduct) Rules, 1964. Any
violation of the said Rule will be viewed seriously and disciplinary action may be
taken against such delinquent Officers under the provisions of Conduct Rules.

5. The requests/representations sent earlier and prior to issue of this OM shall not be
taken into cognizance. Those. who have submitted their transfer requests earlier need to
apply again and submit their preferences afresh.

6. The contents of this Office Memorandum may be brought to the notice of all
concerned officers.
