OFFICE ORDER

Pursuant to acceptance of recommendations of the Departmental Promotion


Committee (Group–B) for the year 2025, the Chairman, Central Water Commission
hereby appoints the following Junior Engineers (C&M) of Central Water Commission on
their promotion to the grade of Assistant Director Grade– II/Sub Divisional Engineer in
the pay level 7 (Rs.44,900- 1,42,400) on regular basis and posted as under:

2. On their promotion, officials who got transferred form one organisation to other
organisation are requested to submit their joining report as AD-II/SDE to the their
respective SE (Coord)/ Under Secretary, Estt.-V section where they got transferred
and rest are requested to submit their joining report as AD-II/SDE to their present SE
(Coord.). Further posting as AD-II/SDE of the official will be decided by the
concerned SE (C) of the field organization/Under Secretary, Estt- V Section of the
Commission, as the case may be.
3. The controlling officers of the above mentioned officers under transfer are requested
to expeditiously relieve them so as to ensure that they join the promotion post on or
before 01st July, 2025.
4. The promotion of the above officers will be effective from the date they assume
charge of the higher post within 30 days from the date of issue of this order.

5. This order is subject to further orders that may be passed in Hon’ble Supreme Court
in the Civil Appeal No. 629 of 2022 arising out of SLP (C) No. 30621 of 2011 titled
Shri Jarnail Singh & Ors Vs. Lachhmi Narain Gupta & Ors and other connected
matters.
