Westbridge - a farming village situated along the Long Road in the Savage Frontier.

It earned its
name, fittingly enough, for its location on the west side of Stone Bridge. Westbridge comprised a
market, stockyard and several warehouses. As of the mid—14 th century DR, they were all
owned by the halfling businessman Ghaliver Longstocking.
Shops:
Hammer and Nail: This wainwright shop owned by Trystkin (human bandit) Trystkin is
modestly-build but carried himself with confidence so that he appears more imposing than he
actually is. This smithy is a one-story stone building with a covered forge. The inside of the
building holds items for sale, and the forge outside is open for anyone to use. The smithy most
often does work repairing wagon wheels or nearby buildings.

Happy Halfling: This inn is a cozy place with a lot of rugs, squishy armchairs, cushions, and
warming fires. It comes highly recommended as a place to get some sleep or just to relax. It
is an inn of aristocratic quality, and its main draw is a local legend that says the inn was built
on ground holy to Yondalla. The rooms for rent at The Happy Halfling are averaged-sized
and taken care of, and the cost for a night's stay is 3 gp. The Happy Halfling is owned by
a halfling who loves her job named Joycie Glapsi (Nfemale strongheart halfling commoner).
Joycie cares a lot about knowing other people's opinions and thinks highly of those whose
opinions she agrees with. Joycie employs a cool and collected bartender named Merle
Kitchens (NG male Tethyrian human commoner), two attractive servers named Issy
Clarkson (NG female Tethyrian human commoner) and Shevon Peters (CG
female Tethryian human commoner), two stocky bouncers named Lance Ethanasath (LN
male half-elf thug) and Fibblestib Tarkelby (N male forest gnome thug), and a hard-working
and persistent cook named Gadise Okorie (CG female Mulan human commoner).

The Wyvern Comes to Westbridge: This tavern has its name displayed in red letters on a
signboard outside depicting a rearing wyvern. It is a sunny, plant-filled place with a small menu
and perfect dishes. It is a tavern of modest quality, and its main draw is the bartender who
remembers every regular's drink order. The Wyvern comes to Westbridge is owned by a short
and cheery woman named Helisa Ithcanter (CG female Chondathan human commoner). Helisa
is a persistent worker and makes sure that the tavern is fully stocked with food. Helisa employs
a rambunctious noisy dwarf bartender named Kildrak Broodfist (N male gold dwarf commoner),
two moderately attractive servers named Bettye Reeves (LG
female Tethyrian human commoner) and Cumpen Humplebumple (LG
female rock gnome commoner), and a cook who does not tolerate weakness named Kylie
Quickley (N female Tethyrian human commoner).

Westbridge Brewers: This winery is a one-story stone structure that has a large garden in the
backyard. This winery makes two red wines and an ale and sells them to the inn and tavern in
Westbridge. However, they also sell them to travelers passing through the village. Westbridge
Brewers is owned by a pair of halfling brothers named Dondon Mugwort (CG
male lightfoot halfling commoner) and Chay Mugwort (CG male lightfoot halfling commoner).
Dondon is soft-spoken and well-mannered, while his brother Chay is cocky and sure of himself.

Harvest Inn: This establishment was run by the likable art dealer Herivin Dardragon. Contained
comfortable beds at reasonable prices and it included Derry's Tavern and Eatery, a famous bar
wherein travelers exchanged tales every night. Herivin was a collector and purveyor of unusual
and sometimes distasteful works of art with questionable artistic value.

 He is renowned on the Sword Coast for his curly black hair and his love of collecting,
and reselling, questionable paintings and statuettes.
 Combined with Derry’s Tavern and Eatery, run by Herivin’s wife, the inn provides all the
needs for a weary traveler.
 There are a total of thirteen beds for rent at the inn
 two single rooms and three shared rooms. The single rooms are 5gp per night and a bed
in a shared room is 1gp per night.
 A meal at the Eatery ranges in price from 5sp to 20gp, and drinks range in price from
5cp to 50gp for the most expensive wine available.
 The remaining double room on the first floor is for Herivin and his wife.
Longstocking Yard: Longstocking Yard contains Westbridge's town hall, as well as the village's
largest grain warehouse. The yard is protected by a stout wooded palisade that is 15 feet high
and twenty halfling archers, who have been trained to fire from the roofs of the hall and
warehouse. The Baron of Westbridge is a charming halfling who owns half the town named
Ghaliver Longstocking (CN male lightfoot halfling bandit captain). Ghaliver dreams of
becoming a real power in the Sword Coast, but he knows that he's becoming watched by
the Zhentarim and other groups who wish him ill.
In recent months, there have been disappearances of locals to the region, and Ghaliver is
looking for adventurers who would be willing to talk with Fredu, whose story about finding an evil
temple might but be connected to the disappearances. (Lost Temple of Asmodeus - party lvl 6)
