2.0 Purpose

for Traction Installation Directorate
3.0 Scope of Application
The copies of the documents shall be kept in Documentation Cell and on TI Server.
4.0 Procedure/ Details
List of maintenance instructions
These maintenance instructions should be available with the Zonal Railways HQ,
Sr.DEEs of the electrified Railways, the PSI & OHE Depot, In-charges of the Division or
any other Supervisor responsible for the effective implementation of these
instructions.
Responsibility of Distributions
The responsibility of prompt distribution of these instructions to the Zonal Railways
HQ level will be of RDSO. The responsibility of prompt distribution of these
instructions to the Sr.DEEs/TrD of the Division will be of CEDEs of Zonal Railways and
distribution of these instructions upto the Depot level/concerned Foreman will be of
Sr.DEE/TrD of the Division.
Responsibility of Implementation
The responsibility of effective monitoring implementation of these instructions will be
of the Zonal Railways within the Zonal Railways, Sr.DEE/TrD will be responsible for
arranging all Stores related materials for these instructions, while the Depot Inahcrge
will be responsibile for the quality of implementation and effective implementation of
these instructions. In each case decision regarding their implementation lies with the
CEDEs of the Zonal Railways based upon the local condition prevailing.

2.0 List of other instructions
These instructions should be available with the Zonal Railways HQ, CORE/Allahabad,
CPM Offices at site, Sr.DEEs of the Electrified Railways & the Construction Units
carrying out the electrification works.
3.0 Responsibility of distributions
These responsibilities of prompt distribution of these Instructions to the Zonal
Railways HQ and CORE/Allahabad will be of RDSO. The mplementation for prompt
distribution of these Instructions to the Construction Units of HQ or field units and
Sr.DEE/TrD of the Division will be of CEDEs the Zonal Railways. The responsibility of
distributing these Instructions to CPM and Field Unit of RE shall lie with
CEE/CORE/Allahabad.
4.0 Responsibility of Implementations
The responsibility of effective monitoring mplementation of these instructions will be
of CEDE of the Zonal Railways and CEE/CORE/Allahabad. CPM and the field Dy.CEEs
shall ensure adequate measures before forwarding the applications for EIG sanctions.
For the existing electrified sections, their implementation shall be ensured by the
Sr.DEE/TrD, in each case, decision regarding their implementation lies with the CEDEs
of the Zonal Railways based upon the local condition prevailing.
