Rnds 1–3 With A, purl.
Rnds 4–7 With B, knit.
Rnd 8 With A, knit.
Materials Rep rnds 1–8 for welted stripe pat.
■ 2 31⁄2 oz/100g hanks (each approx 131yd/120m) of Noro
Iro (wool/silk) each in #94 (A) and #95 (B) Cowl
■ Size 11 (8mm) circular needle, 24"/61cm long or size to With A, cast on 88 sts. Join and pm taking care not to
obtain gauge twist sts on needle. Work even in welted stripe pat for 8
■ Stitch marker rnds. Cont in welted stripe pat, dec 1 st at end of next rnd
(p2tog on purl rnds and k2tog on knit rnds), then every
