side of FPSO KAOMBO South.
Give support to COW and commissioning team for installation and start up of top side rotating

My responsibility as a Mechanical Senior Technician was to undertake all kind of preventive and
breakdown maintenance of Metering Skid, Air Compressors, Diesel Generator, HVAC unit
(CMMB and PAPA 5) and involving in tower crane operation to loading and un-loading offshore
materials.

Experience in FPSO MYSTRAS:

Worked in FS/FST-SOYO Angola, as a Mechanical Supervisor, my responsibility in Maintenance of
3 tank forms and 2 oil flow stations and 1 gas flow station. The power generation is done by gas
generators 275KVA, around 28 gas engine are used on the sites for gas compresson, oil treatment
and oil export.

FPSO MYSTRAS is located in Nigeria having processing capacity of 100000 Brls/day. My

responsibility as a Mechanical supervisor was to undertake all kind of preventive and breakdown
maintenance of Topside production facilities, power generation Typhoon Turbines, gas injection

compressors driven by cyclone Turbines, Gas processing units, De-Hydration units (TEG), all
production equipment, Fire water pumps, cranes & commissioning of new equipments.

OFFSHORE & ONSHORE PROCESSING PLANT EXPERIENCE:

Having hands on experience in preventive, productive and breakdown maintenance of all
static and rotating equipments used in oil and natural gas processing Plants.

Well experienced in Crude stabilization unit(3 phase), Gas Dehydration Unit (TEG), Gas
Sweetening Unit (MDEA), Condensate Fractionation Unit, Dew Point Depression Unit, Water Injection
Unit, Gas Injection Unit, Unmanned platforms & Offshore water Maker, Fire water Pumps, Seawater Lift
pumps, Gas turbine drive Compressor & Booster Pumps.

WELL HEAD OPERATIONS & MAINTANANCE:

turbine blades, Vane segments, Compressor Diaphragms, Combustors, Transitions and Fuel
nozzles.
2. Alignment of Turbine Inter stage seals and generators.
3. Turbine Bearing Changing and its Oil Circuit and Compartment cooling equipments maintenance.

CENTRIFUGAL COMPRESSORS:
Worked in Dresser Clark, Dresser Rand (France), Kawasaki Cooper (Japan) and Nuvo
Pignone (Italy) natural gas pumping and Gas Lift Centrifugal Compressors with seal and dry gas seal
system with various capacities.
Involved in bundle changing, rotar centering, seal changing and bearing changing, balancing drum
laby changing, stage laby changing, thrust collar fixing and its seal and lube oil circuit accessories
maintenance.
RECIPROCATING AIR & GAS COMPRESSOR:
MAKE: BROOME & WADE, INGERSOLL RAND, KIRLOSKAR, WILLIAM JAMES,

 KG KHOSHLA, CPT, ATLASCOPCO, HYDUCK, and CLERK ETC.
 Dismantling and inspection of main bearing, big end bearing, small end bearing, cross
head, thrust washer, oil pump gear clearance inspection as per OEM instructions. Cylinder side
clearance, cylinder ovality inspection and piston pumping clearance, TDC, BDC inspection,
suction and delivery valve, opening clearance inspection. All these clearance inspected through
the inside outside micrometer, dial gauge micrometer, bore gauge micrometer, filler gauge and
lead wire.
 High-pressure cut-off switch, high temperature cut-off switch, oil pressure cut-off switch,
water flow switch and timer setting.
SCREW COMPRESSOR:
 Operation, maintenance and troubleshooting of different makes of screw compressor like
Ingersoll Rand, K.G.Khosla, Kirloskar, Chicago Pneumatics, ELGI etc.
 Having good experience in screw compressors all control systems like pressure limiting
valve, pressure sensing valve, blow off valve, vent valve, shuttle valve, suction control butterfly
valve with cylinder actuator, oil stop valve, air oil separator inspection and replacement.
HVAC&REFIRGERATION :
Having a good knowledge of compressor running load condition. Safety rules for handling gases
storage, characteristics of gases, maintaining compressors room, preparation for start the compressors
units, air purging, vacuum test, nitrogen flushing and gas charging. Differential temperature maintaining
(Delta T), condenser inlet, outlet temperature maintaining, receiver liquid level maintaining liquifier or
chiller temperature differential pressure maintaining, oil pressure, suction pressure, discharge pressure
setting, find out the problems for troubleshooting and take necessary steps to solve the problems.And
AHU Unit Maintenance.
PUMPS: Centrifugal, Reciprocating and Rotary Pumps, size of the equipment varying from small to large
and working in low, moderate and high temperature medium including vertical pumps and boiler feed
pumps. Make: Flow Serve-Austria, Plunger type-National oil well/wheatly pumps, Seepex,
Worthington England, Shin Nippon , Nuovo pignone,Chemical injection pumps - Geveke pompen
and CALDER – Multi stage Pump.

MECHANICAL SEAL:
SEALOL, JOHNCRANE, DURAMETALLIC, BOBGWARNER, CAMERON, Worked on all
type of seals including single and double and tandem seal single spring and multi spring bellow type and
proper rectification of the same.
ALIGNMENT: Specialized in Alignment job.

Replacement of blades, measure and adjust blade angle, tip clearance and adjust belt tension.

VALVE:
Service and operation inspection of all types of valve like Ball valve, Globe valve, Plug valves,
Gate valve, Globe valve, Butterfly valve, Blow off valve, Diaphragm form valve, Non return valve
(Flab type & Plate type valve), Sandwich type, Piston type NRV Automatic Pneumatic Actuators
control valve in utility department.
