Daily Covering Prayer
Heavenly Father,
I come before You in humility and repentance. I acknowledge my sins and shortcomings, and I
ask for Your forgiveness. Forgive me, Lord, for any wrong thoughts, words, actions, or
attitudes I have had that do not align with Your will. I repent of any unconfessed sin,
disobedience, pride, or selfishness in my life. Wash me clean with the precious blood of Jesus
Christ and restore me to a right relationship with You. I surrender my heart to You today and
ask that You cleanse me from all unrighteousness.
“If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse
us from all unrighteousness.” — 1 John 1:9
I renounce any ties to sin, shame, guilt, and the past, and I choose to walk in the freedom You
have given me through Jesus Christ. I thank You for Your mercy and grace, and I commit to
living in a way that pleases You today.
“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away;
behold, the new has come.” — 2 Corinthians 5:17
Now, as I stand cleansed and forgiven, I come before You, empowered by the Holy Spirit, to
pray and declare Your protection and covering over my life.
I pray this prayer in the POWER of the HOLY SPIRIT, by the AUTHORITY of Your written
WORD, and by the VICTORY of JESUS CHRIST'S SHED BLOOD. According to Matthew 16:19,
I take authority over this day.
“I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth
will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in
heaven.” — Matthew 16:19
I BIND, REBUKE, AND BRING TO NO EFFECT:
All division, discord, disunity, and disrespect.
All rebellion, disobedience, confusion, and disorder.
All strife, anger, wrath, hatred, murder, and violence.
All criticism, condemnation, envy, jealousy, gossip, and slander.
All lying, hindering spirits, retaliatory spirits, deceiving, and scorning spirits.
All false teaching, false manifestations, and lying signs and wonders.
All poverty, lack, fear of lack, murmuring, and complaining.
All seducing spirits and spirits of the Antichrist.
All occult and witchcraft spirits.
“Whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on
earth will be loosed in heaven.” — Matthew 18:18
I break all CURSES placed upon me, and the power of NEGATIVE WORDS and attitudes from
others.
“Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us—for it is
written, 'Cursed is everyone who is hanged on a tree'.” — Galatians 3:13
I break all GENERATIONAL CURSES and DISEASES, and render useless all prayers not inspired
by the HOLY SPIRIT—whether psychic, soul force, witchcraft, or counterfeit tongues.
“For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh but have divine power to
destroy strongholds.” — 2 Corinthians 10:4
I declare that I am FREE from all demonic forces, for whom the SON sets free is FREE INDEED.
“So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.” — John 8:36
I am subject to Your will, O LORD, and I resist the devil, and he FLEES from me in terror. No
tongue, weapon, evil, or destruction shall prosper against me. I escape the snare of the devil.
“Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.” —
James 4:7
I put on the WHOLE ARMOUR OF GOD:
I gird my loins with TRUTH.
I put on the breastplate of RIGHTEOUSNESS.
My feet are shod with the preparation of the GOSPEL OF PEACE.
I take the shield of FAITH, quenching every fiery dart.
I wear the helmet of SALVATION, and I wield the SWORD OF THE SPIRIT.
“Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of His might. Put on the
whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of
the devil.” — Ephesians 6:10-11
My steps are ordered by the LORD. The HOLY SPIRIT leads me into all truth, and I discern the
righteous from the wicked.
“The steps of a man are established by the Lord, when he delights in his way.” —
Psalm 37:23
I take authority over this day in JESUS' name. May it be prosperous and may I walk in YOUR
LOVE, showing forth YOUR GLORY in the earth. I declare that satan is under my feet and will
remain there throughout this day.
“No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against
you in judgment you shall condemn.” — Isaiah 54:17
I plead the BLOOD OF JESUS, a WALL OF FIRE, a BAND OF ANGELS, and a HEDGE OF THORNS
over every area of my life.
“The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear Him, and delivers them.” —
Psalm 34:7
I AM THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF GOD, and I say so.
“For our sake He made Him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in Him we might
become the righteousness of God.” — 2 Corinthians 5:21
I have GOD'S kind of faith—ever-increasing and limitless.
“For we walk by faith, not by sight.” — 2 Corinthians 5:7
I am GOD'S property, so satan, GET OUT of my life, my family, my mind, my body, my job, my
home, my finances, and all that concerns me.
“But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.” — 1
Corinthians 15:57
I pray for the ministry that You have called me to.
I call in FINANCIAL SUPPORT to do the work unhindered by lack.
“And my God will supply every need of yours according to His riches in glory in
Christ Jesus.” — Philippians 4:19
I call for the ministry of helps to assist in the work.
I call forth INTERCESSORS to uphold us in prayer at all times.
May all involved in this ministry be united in understanding, opinions, and judgments. We
stand firm in united spirit and purpose, working side by side for the Gospel. We live in
harmony and love, following after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness,
and long-suffering.
“How good and pleasant it is when God’s people live together in unity!” — Psalm
133:1
I am called, anointed, and equipped to accomplish all that You have called me to do. I
overcome by the BLOOD OF THE LAMB and the WORD OF MY TESTIMONY.
“And they have conquered him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their
testimony, for they loved not their lives even unto death.” — Revelation 12:11
Father, I thank You for dispatching ministering and warring angels to protect and assist me
today. I rebuke any negative expectations.
I FORGIVE ALL PEOPLE and receive from You, for You are my PROVIDER.
“And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors.” — Matthew 6:12
I call forth divine appointments, open doors of opportunity, God-ordained supernatural
encounters, and ministry appointments.
I declare these things in JESUS' name.
“For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not
for evil, to give you a future and a hope.” — Jeremiah 29:11
May the LORD perfect that which concerns me.
“The Lord will fulfill His purpose for me; your steadfast love, O Lord, endures
forever.” — Psalm 138:8
