Present simple and adverbs of frequency
1. Sujeto + Adverbio de frecuencia + Verbo Principal + Complemento. Por ejemplo: I always wake
up at 7am. → Siempre me despierto a las 7am.
2. En el caso de que los adverbios que acompañen al verbo to be, debes colocarlos luego de éste,
entonces la fórmula quedaría: Sujeto + Verbo to be + Adverbio + Complemento. Por ejemplo:
She is always happy. → Ella siempre está feliz.
You are never on time. → Nunca estás a tiempo.
3. Si el adverbio va acompañado de un verbo modal u otro auxiliar, debes colocarlo entre el verbo
modal o auxiliar y el verbo principal de la oración.
Por ejemplo: We have never seen New York. → Nunca hemos visto Nueva York.
You can always phone me. → Siempre puedes llamarme.
4. Los adverbios de frecuencia usually, frequently, often, sometimes y occasionally pueden
situarse al principio o al final de la oración.
