of the crane or hoist

here is a general classification on the

frequency

i)Please check whether grease is in semi-liquid form or in solid form

ii)If solidify please replace the grease with new one
3 WHEELS CT / LT GREASE TOP-UP CHECK
iii)If semi-liquid top-up with required quantity manual or thru grease
nipple

i)Please check whether sheaves are rotating smooth manually by
hand or not
BOTTOM BLOCK SHEAVE
4 PULLEYS ii)If smooth than it`s ok
LUBRICATION
iii)If not smooth than please open all sheaves & repeat all
instructions given in sr. no. 3
i)Please remove dust thru air blow pressure or diesel
5 WIRE ROPE WIRE ROPE LUBRICATION ii)Apply cadmium compound lubricant manually in full length of wire
rope
i)Please make free all thruster motors manually by pulling up &
down
6 BRAKES MH,CT AND LT BRAKE SETTING
ii)Please release manually all dc/ac disc brakes thru handle 3/4
times within a range of hook motion approx 1mtr.

Check busbar visually such as for any bent, damage or

dismantle please replace
1 BUSBAR (LT DSL)

Ensure that current collector is mounted properly If not please correct it

Check for visual damage please replace/repair

DSL CABLES
Check the terminal point for the loose connections please tighten if required

Ensure panel is Dust free & moisture free if not remove dust & moisture
CONTROL PANEL,
TPN/ISOLATOR SWITCH, Check all termination & loose wire connections inside the

BREAKING RESISTANCE panel after dust removing tighten if necessary
ETC.
Earthing of control panel is not rusted or disconnected if yes please replace if necessary
Check
Check the terminal point for the loose connections & lugs please tighten if required
Visually
4 MOTOR & BRAKES

Ensure there is no moisture/water inside terminal box if yes dryout it

Ensure pendent is dust free remove dust

Ensure water has not been entered into the pendant remove & start for dry out process
5 PENDENT
Ensure momentary push buttons are working properly.
Also ensure after pressing it comes out to its original
position if not replace & remove dust . Check connections
Ensure dust free remove dust
6 RADIO REMOTE Remote batteries are in good condition. These are not
discharged replace / charge battery

7 LIMIT SWITCH
Please check for the any physical damage for all motions If damaged replace it
