Personal Interest & Motivation
Tell me more about yourself
Hi, my name is [Your Name], and I’m a grade 11 student at [Your School]. I’ve always been
passionate about visual arts and design—especially digital illustration and animation. Over
the past year, I’ve worked on building my skills using tools like Adobe Illustrator and
Procreate, and I’ve even taken on a few small freelance projects for school clubs. I’m really
excited about this program because I want to learn from industry professionals and take my
work to the next level while collaborating with others who share my interests.
What inspired you to apply for this graphics/arts program?
I found that I have strong interest and talent in design. I had suggestions from my
parents and teachers (art, math, draft & design) to pursue a career in this field.
And I think this course will reduce limits of my creativity because graphic arts will
allow me to access faster and precise tools with amazing features like 3d drawing.
I’m also seeking opportunities to connect with people who are interested in graphic
designs like me.
This program will give me valuable experience in industrial design while allowing me to improve my
skills using computer design tools. I can connect with other students who share the same passion as
me. Additionally, it offers hands-on experience that will help me develop practical skills and prepare
me for future opportunities in the field.
How long have you been interested in graphic design or the arts?
Since I was little, I liked to just sketch on a piece of paper. A lot. I naturally realized that I am
fascinated in it. I realized everything I see and I use was designed by people and I want to be
part of them in the future.
Who are your artistic influences or favorite artists/designers?
My favourite artist is Banksy (graffiti artist). I like the way he expresses ideas creatively
using the traits of different walls and how he criticize or give messages through them.
What does art mean to you personally?
Sharing ideas, emotions, and personality.
How do you stay motivated to create?
I look outside the window and I stare to the moving clouds and waving leaves.
( sorry I can’t think of anything about this question)

shaped the way I approach design.

3d modelling capability of manual drawing was an obstacle in bringing my ideas to life. Eager to push
my creativity further, I have prepared myself by exploring Adobe and other digital tools and
researching this career path, and applying those skills to presentation slides and videos.
