Tien: In my country, people are concerned with all the news. I think local news are very important to the
majority of the people.
Hayató: Currently, the most important national news because of the presidential election's second round.
In my opinion, I think Bolsanaro is not so bad as the media portrays him. We have many fake news. It's
hard to rely on the mainstream media.
Mónica: At the moment, one topic in my country that people are talking about is the government. We have
a new president, but right now, he has made a lot of different things than previous presidents. For
example, talking about Venezuela, he has a strong opinion about that. Iván Duque.
Marco: The most important topic is politics and elections. I understand that people are talking about the
Saudi Arabian citizen that disappeared. It is something that is very strange for all of us here in Brazil.
Afterwards, we think that the American government is trying to pass a good message to the entire world,
but at the end, the thing that is really important to them is to have access to oil in Saudi Arabia.
Paulo: I haven't been following the news, aside from politics recently. Because of this, I prefer not to talk
about the news.

--The most important topic in Brazil is the election and the situation of the economy. Companies are not
happy and the exchange rate with the dollar went down. Normally, the markets are not happy with
Bolsanaro - the candidate of the right. The stock exchange is not happy because Bolsanaro is leading in
the polls.
--So, I want to ask yo,. How do you feel about it? Do you like Bolsanaro?
--I consider that he has a position that I do not agree with. He is against black people, he is sexist. He is
not the best candidate for Brazil. But now we are in this situation.
--Do you believe that if Bolsanaro will lead your country, your country will be better.
--Unfortunately, I'm not sure about that. I am concerned. I hope that things will go well if he wins, at least
that we have peace.
--We have some acts where some people were killed, violent acts against people who are different.

--We can talk about soccer. Last night, we had the final match between Cruzeiro and Corinthians, and
Cruzeiro won and is now the champions. Cruzeiro is a Belo Horizonte team, very popular in Minas Gerais.
For me it was not good, because I support my team from Sao Paolo, the Corinthians.
