1 Supply, Installation testing and commissioning of AMCA Certified Axial type Jet Fans for
basements with GSS (GSM 220 with Zero sprangle) Casing, Totally Enclosed Fan Cooled
squirrel cage induction Motor rated for 415 +/- 10%V, 50Hz AC Supply, electric Motor
rated for high temperature (upto 250 deg C at 2 Hours) suitable for ceiling suspended type
complete with all accessories for installation of fan as per manufacturers
recommendations. The impeller (Hub and blades) shall be constructed of die cast
aluminium alloy. Impeller should have aerodynamic profile. Each fan shall be with dual
speed motor, silencer at both ends, inlet and outlet guards (as per manufacturer) and
mounting legs.The fans, motors and complete shall be suitable for 250 Deg C for 2 hour
fire rating and must be having vibration grade below G2.5. The functioning and
performance of the above mentioned items can be ensured if the tender specify that fan
manufacturer shall submit “Certificate of conformity for 250 deg C for 2 hours operation
as per EN12101-3: 2002 issued by Internationally recognized Independent Fire Laboratory
should be submitted along with type test report. The Type test report should clearly
indicate the make of motor used during the testing and the same make/ model of motor
should be supplied by the fan manufacture at the site.

Each fan to have a pre-wired terminal box with Dahlander connection (tapped winding). It
shall be manufactured to resist high temperatures in the event of emergency. Box to have
easy access for service. The fan module to be removable for easy maintenance.

Scope of Supply : Jetfan with dual speed motor suitable for 250 Deg C for 2 hours, 2
silencers, mounting legs, 2 bird screen

2 Supply,Installation,Testing and Commissioning of Extract air fans of Tube axial type rated
in certified with AMCA complete with direct drive fire rated motor with protection, fire
rated electrical accessories and other ancillaries. All the fan components, the fan, the
motor, the casing to be heavy duty GSS and shall be fire rated and designed to with
stand 250°C temperatures for 2 hour in the event of fire. The fan shall have low sound
level exceeding not more than 65 dBA at three meter distance at both ends. Each fan shall
be with all accessories,controls, fire rated flexible connection,vibration isolators,fixing
frame and supports for installation. The scope shall include all ancillary works related to
proper fixing of the fans. Fan construction and technical performance shall be in complete
compliance with the technical specification issued along with the RFP. Also, access
platform chequered plate MS structure to be provided.
Casing: double flanged,long casing shall be constructed of Hot dipped heavy duty
Galvanized steel to withstand 250⁰C for max 2 hours. Casing shall have flanged connection
on both ends for ducted applications with flanges at both ends.

Impeller: Hub and blades shall be constructed of die cast aluminium alloy. Aerofoil
Impeller should have aerodynamic profile to guarantee high efficiency and low noise level.
Components to be X-ray inspected to ensure compliance with standards.

The Fan, motor and each component of the fan shall be fire rated as per IEC/ EN/ NFPA
standards and fully meet the F300 time/ temperature classifications of NBC 2016 (250°C
for 120 minutes). Test certificates to be produced prior to delivery of the units.

Fan motor shall be high efficiency IE2 and low noise design.Motor shall be suitable for
415±10% volts, 50 cycles/second, 3 phase AC supply and variable speed. The windings to
be insulated with Class H insulation material for Smoke Exhaust fan motors and Class F
insulation for Fresh air fan motors. Protection for all fan motors shall be IP55. The motors
to be designed with certain speed-torque characteristics to match speed-torque
requirements of various loads. The NEMA designs standards B to be respected and
suitable for Class I or as per IS 5572-2009.

NOTE: Only Exhaust Fans shall be fire rated.


Following are the ratings: Contractor to verify the actual SP as per approved shop drawing
and select the motor accordingly.Contractor to submit the selections and take approval
from consultant before proceeding with the procurement.

Noise level of the fan shall be 70 dBA @ 1 m distance. Sound Attenuators to achieve the
required noise level shall be considered.
2.1 Exhaust Air Fan: Each fan capacity/ rating shall be: 10500 CFM @ 20mm of wg SP, Motor
of 5.60 KW rating @ 6 Pole, Speed 1000rpm, Power supply - 415V/ 3ph/ 50Hz, suitable for
working in conjunction with a VFD and with wire mesh on the fan intlet.

Scope of supply shall be Axial Fan with Single Speed Motor (VFD compatible) , Bird Screen
(1 No.), 1 no. backdraft damper, 1 no. isolater switch, 1 no. fire rated flexible
connection and suitable vibration isolator, threaded rods for ceiling suspension of fan.

3 Supply and installation of CO Sensor and Detector UL 2034/ NFPA CO detector to be


installed flush mounted hard wired to Panels and with battery back up.
Each Sensor shall have Output Terminals: (Screw Type)

3. O/P 1 Linear signal CO transmitter
4. O/P 2 Linear signal CO2 transmitter (Built in option)

7. Jumper for configuring the linear output 0% or 20% start point

4 MOTOR CONTROL CENTRE PANEL - Ventilation


Design, manufacture, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of the following
cubicle type, dead front, sheet steel, wall mounted control panels, including anchoring
into the wall, incoming cable wiring terminating into MCCB and earthing, in each panel
shall be provided by the HVAC contractor.

Supply and Installation of MCC Electrical Panel (PLC Based) made out of 2mm CRCA sheet
finished with Siemens Grey powder coated painting (RAL-732) and degree of protection
IP52. Panel complete with Built in PLC, MCB with OLR for 4 Nos. 1.1 KW each Impulse Jet
Fan with dual speed and MPCB Feeders and VFD 2 nos. for 5.60 KW exhaust air fans
without bypass arrangement (KW rating as specified in SLD and fan schedule). All Jet
Impulse Fans and Parking Supply and Exhaust air Fans each controlled through CO level
feedback by individual MCC Panel's PLC and in case of Emergency speed of exhaust fans
shall be increased to 50Hz. All panels shall be floor/ wall mounted and top cable entry,
suitable incomer MCCB, aluminium bus bar and custom built microprocessor logic No.
controller with necessary control wiring etc. Each feeder shall have TPN MCB, two starters
and indication lamps, toggle switch for two speed operations and PLC logic controller with
necessary internal control wiring etc.
All outgoing shall be provided with Start/ Stop/ Manual/ Auto selector switch to facilitate
operation through BAS. All starters shall be provided with potential free Contact for
Connections to Building Automation System.

All internal wiring, power cabling and copper earthing of motors from the panel to Starter
& to the motor shall be included.
VFDs with, complying with the technical specifications and having:
Built-in online harmonic filters on common bus to limit THID at 100% speed less than 30%

Built-in EMC Filters (electromagnetic compatibility filters) for restriction of conducted


emissions to comply with IEC61800: 3 (unrestricted distribution): 2004 Category C 1 for 50
meters of cable length between motor & VFD.

Automatic Energy Optimization/ Load dependent flux optimization functionality for


maximum energy savings.
MODBUS RTU as the communication protocol between BMS & VFDs.
The panel shall include the following components and accessories.

a MCCB as per the HP/ Kw ratings of fans given above, suitable for motor duty and able to
withstand fault level of 16KA.
b Including VFD/ DOL starter with all accessories like type 02 coordinated breaker,
contactor, necessary power, control cabling of suitable rating between panel and the
motor etc., shall be provided to make the system fully function.

c Terminal block for power distribution as required.


d Contactor, over load relay with built in single phasing protection.
e Phase indicating lights and indicating light for ON, OFF, TRIP status.
f Digital voltmeter and digital ammeter.
g Time delay relay for delayed automatic restart of motor.
h For on/ off/ remote and local operation, 3 pole single throw switch shall be provided in
each panel to facilitate override of the automatic operation.
i 3 Nos of Single Pole MCB's shall be provided at the incoming section of the starter panel
for DDC Panel and as a spare.
j All starters shall be provided with suitable potential free contract for connections to the
Building Automation System. All starters shall be BMS compatible.

Note: DOL starter for Dual speed Jet fans and VFD for exhaust air fans included in the MCC
panel section.
Supply installation testing of following Fire survival armoured cable with copper
conductors having glass Mica ( Fire barrier) TAPE,Cross linkable ethylene propylene
rubber(EPR) insulation along with low smoke zero halogen(LSZH) inner & outer sheath as
per BS-7846:2009,IEC-60502-1:2004,/IEC-61034 Part-1 & 2 and Cable having 20mm overall

diameter and above should meet fire survival circuit integrity test as per BS 8491-2088
CAT-3 ( 120 MINS) & BS-6387 C.W.Z cables with overall diameter less than 20mm should
meet circuit integrity as per BS 8434-2:2009 & BS 6387CWZ & with supports & suitable
double compression gland end termination.

Computational Fluid Dynamics CFD Analysis and simulation to ensure proper placement of
fans to comply with the air movement, ACPH, exposure levels/ time of CO to persons and
applicable building regulations. CFD analysis to include complete preparation and
simulation study of 3D modelling, intake and extract openings available for ventilation.
6 The scope shall cover complete basement and the Party shall submit a complete CFD Lot
report with data sheets, graphs for review and approval of Client and Consultant. The
Agency scope is to work on the coordination drawings and produce the results, any
comments to be incorporated and revisions made to get the final CFD approved by Client.
Minimum 3 runs shall be included. CD containing visual output shall be submitted.

Supply and installing following size of Pre Galvanized cable trays fabricated out of Single
Sheet Steel Confirming to I.S. 1079 : 1973 / I.S. 513: 1994 including horizontal and vertical
bends ,anchor fastner and C channel,GI bolt, reducers, tees, cross members at 300 mm

interval and other accessories as required and duly suspended from the ceiling with
fabricated MS angle slotted angle supports /HItech rods as shown in Drawing at 1200 mm
interval, etc as required.(Cable trays should be bolted type)

14 LOUVERS AT GROUND FLOOR

15 Supplying and fixing of opposed blade Back Draft Dampers in supply air duct collars as per sqm
approved drawings and specifications. Damper shall be with 18G GSS body and blades
