Assembling the Dumpster
Side Lift Bars
Center the Bars on the sides of the Dumpster. First, sew the starting ch of the Bar to the
Dumpster. Then, a few sts below this, sew down row 3 of the Bar creating a little tunnel.

Lids & Flame Half

One Lid is sewn to the right half of the Dumpster. With the Lid’s beginning ch, align
with the right Side of Dumpster, sew down Lid using the unworked back loops of row 2
of the Top of Dumpster, making sure to sew down the hinges as you go.

The second Lid is attached by sewing the hinges to the outside Top of Dumpster.

©️Where The Crafty Things Are, LLC 8

Start stuffing.

Sew the Flame Half to the left half of the Dumpster using the unworked back loops of
row 2 of the Top of Dumpster and the back loops of the Lid. Finish stuffing before fully
closing.

Flames
Sew the Flames to the Flame Half in a random manner, mixing the small flames in
between the large. I sewed a few stitches along the bottom of the flame with a line of
stitches on the flame half to help stabilize the flame.

Wheels
With Yarn B, sew the Wheels to the Dumpster along the bottom front seam, going
through the center of the wheel. I went through the wheel center and the dumpster
twice with the yarn, tied off, and pulled tail to inside of dumpster.

You’re finished.
Enjoy!
