There are two ways you can use the pattern:


Cut out pattern with seam allowance included (illustrated above) and simply pin
paper patterns to fabric and cut out. Fabric will have 1/4" (.6cm) seam allowance
included and you will sew 1/4" (.6cm) away from edge.
This way is quicker.

Or cut out patterns without the seam allowance then trace the paper pieces onto
back of fabric and cut out fabric pieces 1/4" (.6cm) away from traced line.
This way helps a beginner sew precisely as it is often difficult to align and
sew all the corners.
