Bihar's Food and Food products


1. English

Topic: Describing Traditional Foods of Bihar-

*Write 10 lines about all the popular dishes of Bihar (like Litti Chokha, Dal puri.)

*Draw the food item and label its parts (e.g., dough, stuffing).

2. Hindi

Topic: बिहार के प्रसिद्ध भोजन पर अनुच्छेद लिखो .

छोटा अनुच्छेद (5-6 पंक्तियाँ) ‘लिट्टी चोखा’ या ‘दाल-पूरी’ पर


लिखें।

বিহারের প্রসিদ্ধ খাদ্য গুলোর উপর ৬/৭ লাইন লেখো

3. Mathematics

Topic: Food and food products: Weighing & Counting Ingredients

* Use a recipe (e.g., for Litti) to create at least three word problems.

Example: If 1 litti needs 50g flour, how much for 5 littis?

( Include addition, subtraction, and weight (grams/kilograms).)

* Art: Make a chart of ingredients with pictures and measurements.

4. Science

Topic: Sources and Nutrients in Bihar’s Foods

* Identify main ingredients in Litti Chokha (wheat,ghee, gram, potato, tomato,chili, onion, garlic, ginger,
mustard oil , salt, coriander leaves etc.)

* Classify them as plant-based/animal-based.

* Discuss their nutrients: carbohydrates, protein, vitamins.


* Art: Draw a food pyramid with Bihar dishes.

5. Social Studies

Topic: Culture and Festivals with Traditional Foods

* Discuss how food is linked to festivals (like Chhath Puja)

Art: Make a collage showing Bihari food and festivals.
