The video shows a creative recycling process where leftover paper cartons are used.

First, they are cut into small rolls, and then, a piece of cardboard is cut into a circle, which will
serve as the base. Next, the cardboard rolls are glued one on top of the other, forming a kind of
structure around the circle.

This process is repeated until the cardboard is completely covered, creating a voluminous base.

Once the structure is ready, a lightbulb is placed in the center, transforming the set into a
unique and eco-friendly lamp, made entirely from recycled materials

MY PROJECT

PENCIL HOLDER

Materials Used

(Show the items to the camera)

“For this project, I’m using:

 An empty plastic bottle,

 Some old magazines,

 A pair of scissors,

 Glue,

 And a piece of cardboard I found at home.”

Process

“Step 1: I cleaned and cut the plastic bottle in half to use it as a base.
Step 2: I rolled up pages from the old magazine to create decorative sticks. I used glue to stick
them together to form a pattern.

Step 3: I attached the magazine rolls around the plastic base to give it a unique look.

Step 4: I added a piece of cardboard underneath for stability.

And that’s it! I’ve created a beautiful recycled pen holder.”

Finished Product

This is my finished pen holder! It’s practical, easy to make, and looks amazing on a desk. Plus,
it’s made entirely from recycled materials

Why recycling is important:

"Recycling helps reduce pollution by minimizing the amount of waste that ends up in landfills
and the environment. By reusing materials like aluminum or cardboard, we lower our carbon
footprint and contribute to a more sustainable future."

Advice

One simple way to recycle at home is to separate your trash into recyclable and non-recyclable
bins. It’s an easy habit that makes a big difference.
