Statement of the Problem


The Philippines has seen various public transportation infrastructure projects fail to meet their
intended goals due to a variety of challenges. These include, but are not limited to, poor project
planning, inadequate funding, bureaucratic inefficiencies, corruption, and lack of stakeholder
engagement. This research seeks to answer the following main question:

What are the critical factors affecting the success of public transportation infrastructure projects
in the Philippines?

Sub-questions:
