SONOGRAPHY OF PELVIS (TVS):

URINARY BLADDER: Is not assessed.

UTERUS: Uterus is normal in size, anteverted, measures approx. 5.89 x 2.94 x


4.18 cm and shows homogenous myometrial echoes. No focal lesions
are noted in the uterus. The endometrium is normal and measures 5.3
mm in thickness.

OVARIES: Right ovary measures approx. 4.2 x 2.49 x 3.25 cm with volume –
17.77 ml.
Left ovary measures approx. 5.04 x 2.08 x 3.28 cm with volume –
18.03 ml.
Both ovaries are bulky in size and show multiple peripherally
arranged follicles with central echogenic stroma. No dominant
follicle seen.
Both adnexae are clear.
There is no free fluid or obvious pelvic adenopathy.

IMPRESSION:

➢ Bulky bilateral ovaries with polycystic morphology.

Suggested hormonal and clinical correlation.
