Hello everyone! Atma Namaste, I am Pallabi.
I’ve been requested by the club Editor of Inner Wheel Noida City, Laxmi Manori, to
speak about Pranic Healing today, so here I am 😊
Thank you Laxmi for the introduction.
So this is a short discussion on Pranic Healing, we will have 10 minutes at the end for
any questions that you may have.
TOPIC 1. PRANA AND PRANIC ENERGY
Before I talk about Pranic Healing, let’s first talk about Prana.
So What is Prana, any idea anyone
What does Pranic energy mean to you, Pranic Urja Kya hai
What is Prana?
“Prana” is a Sanskrit word that means “life-force”. Prana is invisible energy, vital energy that keeps the
body alive and maintains a state of good health.
It is the invisible energy that surrounds us. Everything in the universe, including thoughts and
emotions, is entirely made up of energy. Even things like relationships and finances are
considered as energy patterns.
In Yoga, Ayurveda, and Indian martial arts, prana is said to permeate reality on all levels,
including inanimate objects
Pranic Healing teaches us how to feel this energy, how to work with this energy, and
experience the existence of Prana.
In acupuncture, the Chinese refer to this subtle energy as “Chi” or “Qi“.
The Japanese refer to this subtle energy as “Ki“. The concept of “Ki” forms the basis for
Aikido and Reiki.
In the Old Testament, this energy is referred to as “Ruah” breath", "wind", or "spirit". It is a
code term that refers to a force that is irresistible, unutterable, and undomesticated.
In Islam Ruh, an Arabic word that means "holy spirit"
What is Pranic Energy? Pranic Urja
In Hinduism, prana is a cosmic energy that is present everywhere.
The three main sources of pranic energy or life energy are the Sun, Air and Earth/ ground.
SOLAR PRANA or solar energy is derived from sunlight.
It promotes good health and energizes the entire body.
One can obtain solar prana or solar energy by sunbathing for about 5 to 10 minutes or by drinking
water that has been exposed to sunlight.
But too much exposure to solar prana can be harmful for the body since it is quite strong.
AIR PRANA is obtained from the pranic energy present in the air.
While breathing air, prana is absorbed by our lungs.
It is also absorbed directly by the chakras or energy centers.
It is possible to obtain more air prana by slow deep and rhythmic breathing than by short shallow
breathing.
In Yog Sadhana, grasping the importance of Prana becomes key, because It has
different forms like the Pancha Pranas and Pancha Upa Pranas, that are responsible
for essential bodily and mind functions.
In Yog, we support and balance Prana in our daily routine, like breathing exercises,
meditation, and specific yoga poses. This helps us feel more energetic, mentally
clear, and healthier overall.
EARTH/ GROUND PRANA is derived from the life energy present in the ground.
It is absorbed by the soles of our feet.
There is an increase in the amount of ground prana absorbed by the body while walking barefoot.
Plants, trees, food, and vegetables provide different forms of prana.
COLOUR PRANA
In Pranic healing, color prana is a concept that different colors have different properties that can be
used for healing.
Now a days you may have heard of the concept called The Rainbow Diet.
The rainbow diet is a healthy eating plan that involves eating a variety of fruits and vegetables in
different colours.
Why?
Colour is a very deep mystical concept – that has been understood very well by large orgnisations
for example, and brands to promote their products, by influencing the minds of billions of customers
like you and me, across the world, with colours.
So, colour is a very deep concept, it is mystical and has healing properties too.
How does color prana work? So In the context of pranas
Different colors have different properties that can be used for healing
White prana is digested to produce different color pranas.
All our Chakras are associated with a certain colour for example. In Pranic Healing, we use colours
prana to heal, we are taught about colour pranas.
Red Prana – It is warm, strengthening, expansive, dilating, distributive, constructive,
stimulating, activating and it also sustains the physical body.
Orange Prana – It is expelling, eliminating, decongesting, cleansing, splitting, exploding and
destructive.
Green Prana – This colour prana is decongesting, cleansing, detoxifying, dis infecting and
dissolving.
Yellow Prana – It is cementing, assimilating and initiating.
Blue Prana – It is disinfecting, inhibiting, contracting, soothing, cooling and flexible.
Violet Prana – It contains all the properties of the above mentioned colour pranas. Light violet
has a regenerating effect. It also has a multiplier effect on all the properties of the colour
pranas.
Electric Violet Pranic Energy – Electric Violet prana is obtained from the higher soul or higher
self and it appears as “brilliant white with light violet on the periphery”. It is also known as
divine energy or spiritual energy . It is much more powerful than normal violet prana and it
contains all the properties of the other colour pranas. Electric violet pranic energy has a
consciousness of its own.
Golden Pranic Energy – When electric violet energy comes in contact with the etheric body ,
it turns into golden prana and when golden prana is absorbed by the physical body it turns
into light red. The properties of golden prana are almost similar to electric violet energy but it
is milder and less fluidic. This energy is known as “heaven ki” in Taoist Yoga, “pillar of light” in
Kabbalah, “descent of the Holy Spirit” in Christianity and “antahkarana” or the spiritual bridge
of light in India.
TOPIC 2. PRANIC HEALING & HOW IT WORKS
WHAT IS PRANIC HEALING
Master Choa Kok Sui, founder of Pranic Healing® and Arhatic Yoga®
Master Choa was born on August 15, 1952 in the southern part of the Philippines. He was born to a
wealthy Chinese family with a very strong business background. Although he got exposed to the
business world early in life his focus shifted to his spiritual mission from the tender age of 12.
Grand Master Choa Kok Sui, through his research and experiments, conceptualized a
comprehensive method that helps in cleansing and energizing the energy system with
practical healing techniques which pervades not only the physical body but also the psyche
thus accelerating the rate at which the body can heal itself, as well as to boost his spiritual
potential.
There are two Basic Laws in Pranic Healing:
1, The Law of Self-Recovery, which states that the body can heal itself. This principle
states that the body has an innate ability to heal itself at a certain rate. Medicines, Doctors,
Therapists, and Practitioners of the healing arts just assist in this process by accelerating their innate
ability.
2. Principle of Life Force: For Life to exist, the body must have prana or energy. Prana or
energy is to a body what gasoline is to a car.
Pranic Healing accelerates the natural healing process of the body.
Before departing from his physical being in March 19, 2007 Grand Master Choa Kok Sui's last
messages to his students was:
- Practice Diligently.
- Purify yourself.
- Spread the Teachings.
HOW PRANIC HEALING WORKS
Pranic Healing teaches that humans can feel and influence this energy too!
The Human Energy System
The Human Energy System consists of aura, chakras and meridians, regulating the
flow of energy throughout the body. It is what keeps our mind, body, and emotions in
balance.
1. Aura: The Energy Body
Picture an energy bubble surrounding your physical body, like your personal force field. This
is your aura. It is often referred to as the energy body.
Aura works as the battery of a cellphone; it keeps the body healthy and alive. Anything in
life that disturb us, such as stress at work, fear, sadness and loneliness, arguments and
frustrations, makes this luminous energy field dimmer, imbalanced and full of holes and
greyish energies. This, in long run appears as pain, discomfort, physical and psychological
problems.
When we are feeling healthy and happy, our aura shines brightly, but when we feel stressed
or upset, it becomes dimmer. Basically, our aura is just a reflection of what is going on inside
us, our thoughts and emotions.
2. Chakras: The Energy Centers
Chakras are the spinning wheels of energy running down the spine, from the base to
the top of the head. There are seven main chakras. Each chakra is linked with
different aspects of our body. These chakras regulate and distribute energy
throughout the body, influencing our emotions, health, and overall balance.
When these chakras are balanced and open, energy flows freely, and we feel harmonious
and energized. But if they are blocked or imbalanced, it can lead to or manifest physical or
emotional issues.
3. Meridians: The Energy Pathways
Meridians are invisible channels that flow throughout the body, similar to rivers
carrying water. They carry prana from the chakras and aura to every cell and organ.
However, blockages may disrupt the flow of prana, causing discomfort or disease in the
affected areas.
As a result, unblocking these energy pathways can improve overall well-being and help
physically as well as emotionally.
With Pranic Healing®, we are able to detect the problems and imbalances in the aura and
carefully remove them using a fairly simple technique that involves no touching, no drug and
anyone can learn to do it.
Once the aura is balanced and bright, our physical and psychological health is guaranteed.
How Does Pranic Healing work?
1. Check the stream for any areas that are blocked or stagnant: This is very similar
to scanning your energy field for any blockages.
2. Clean the stream to remove any pollutants or toxins: This step removes any
negative energy and clears the blockages in your energy channels.
3. Revitalize the stream by encouraging fresh, clean water to flow through it: This
step recharges your body with life force energy. It is like giving your body fresh, clean
energy and boosting vitality and resilience.
By cleaning and energizing your aura, Pranic Healing helps your body heal itself just like a
clean, flowing stream that can nourish the life around it.
Pranic Healing is not intended to replace orthodox medicine; it is
meant to complement it. It has often been seen that when conventional medical treatment
is complemented with Pranic Healing, the recovery rate is accelerated three to four times.
Steps in Pranic Healing
Pranic Healing has two basic steps: cleansing and energizing the patient’s bioplasmic body with prana
or vital energy.
It is by cleansing or removing the diseased bioplasmic matter from the affected chakra and the
diseased organ and by energizing them with sufficient prana or vital energy that healing is
accomplished.
These two basic steps are the very foundation of Pranic Healing.
Cleansing: Cleansing is necessary to remove the devitalized diseased matter in the whole
body or the affected part or parts and clear up blocked channels.
This is like first sweeping a very dirty floor and then adding soap and water or cleansing
chemicals to clean and remove the stubborn dirt. The whole process may be repeated over
and over again until the bioplasmic body is normalized.
Energizing: Energizing is simply the process of replacing devitalized diseased matter with
fresh and wholesome pranic energy. Fresh prana serves as the catalyst to accelerate certain
reactions involved in the natural healing process of the human body.
