1 row: the cactus base is a rectangle. Work in green, chain 18 for the first row.
Starting from the 3rdstitch work 15 dc. Work 2 turning ch in the end of each row. Then
turn your work and work 15 dc, back loops only. Working through back loops makes the
fabric ribbed.
2- 20 rows: 15 dc, do not cut the thread. Work a sl st through both loops. Leave a tail for
sewing the top of the cactus.
