                                        ASSEMBLY
Sew the yellow part of the body to the black part of the body. Stuff the body fairly lightly
towards the top so it can lean a bit.
Sew the head to the body on a bit of an angle so the left cheek sticks out more.
Sew the neck spike to the right side of the body, just below the head. The hdc’s should
be at the top and the slip stitches should be at the bottom to angle it slightly.
Sew the left ear to the left side of the head, and then sew the right ear to the right side.
Cut a piece of brown yarn and use it to sew up the gaps on the tail. Stuff the sections of
the tail lightly as you go. I highly recommend using craft wire in it to support it. Leave a
small piece of wire hanging out at the end.
If you used craft wire, bend the piece hanging out of the brown tail and put it inside the
shadow tail to help support the tail. Sew the brown tail to the shadow tail.
                                          DETAILS
Embroider two small black lines on the brown tail.
If needle felting, needle felt two ovals in the center of the body at each side of the yellow
point in the middle.
If using felt, cut two small ovals out and glue/sew them to the center of the body at each
side of the yellow point in the middle.
                                     MIMIKYU
For the face, I started by sectioning areas off using pins. For the mouth, I wrapped a
piece of black yarn around the pins to make sure it was where I wanted it. Next, I used
orange yarn and started on the right cheek, as it sits under the mouth. Then I sewed the
mouth on, using the same black yarn used throughout the pattern. I ended up sewing
across the mouth twice to make it look thicker.
Next, I sewed the right cheek on using the orange yarn.
For the eyes, I took a strand of smaller black yarn and needle felted them on. It was
fairly tricky and time consuming; you could use wool to needle felt them, or they could
also be embroidered on. Just use an image of mimikyu as a reference.
