Amigurumi Crochet Pattern

INTRO MATERIALS
This Pocket Wolf pattern allows you to ● Super bulky weight 6 yarn (I used Hobbii

Pattern
Color Guide
C1: white (nose, hands, feet, tail tip)
C2: light grey (main body color)

HEAD
Note: The head is worked from front to back.

Start with C1 yarn.

R1: Ch 2 and insert 8 sc in the 2nd ch from hook. (8)

R2: Sc 5. In C2: sc 3. (8)

R3: Inc 5. In C2: inc 3. (16)

R4: In C1: sc 9. In C2: inc 7. (23)

In C2: inc in the next st. This will be the new start of the round.

R5-R6: In C1: sc 8. In C2: sc 16. (24)

Use only C2 from here on out.

R7-R8: Sc around. (24)

Insert 10mm eyes between R3-R4, in the middle of the C1 and C2 color changes of R3.

Use black thread to sew a nose to the snout.

R9: Sc 8, dec 8. (16)

R10: Dec around. (8)

Before you stuff the head, crochet the ears using the ‘Ears’ instructions below. This will
allow you to tie the yarn tails securely inside of the head. Once you finish the ears, stuff
the head and FO with a long tail for sewing the opening shut.

EARS (x2)
Note: Each ear takes up 3 sts of space between R6-R7. They are 4 sts apart.

Use grey yarn.

1. With the head facing you, count up 5 sts from the C2 color change in R6. Insert
hook between R6-R7, under that 5th st. (See photo references at the end of the
written pattern.)
2. Ch, hdc in the same st. Ch, tr in next st. Ch, hdc in next st. Ch.
3. FO with a tail and pull both the starting and ending yarn tails into the head. Tie
them securely inside.
4. Count 4 sts to the left. Attach yarn to the 4th st.
5. Repeat steps #2-3 for the second ear.

BODY
Use C2 yarn.

R1: Ch 2 and insert 8 sc in the 2nd ch from hook. (8)

R2: Inc around. (16)

R3: (Sc 3, inc) x 4. (20)

R4-R7: Sc around. (20)

R8: Dec around. (10)

FO with a long tail for sewing to the body later. Stuff with fiberfill.

ARMS (x2)
Start with C1 yarn.

R1: Ch 2 and insert 6 sc in the 2nd ch from hook. (6)

R2-R3: Sc around. (6)

Switch to C2 yarn.

R4-R6: Sc around. (6)

FO with a long tail for sewing to the body later.

LEGS
Start with C1 yarn.

R1: Ch 2 and insert 6 sc in the 2nd ch from hook. (6)

R2: (Sc 2, inc) x 2. (8)

Switch to C2 yarn.

R3: Sc around. (8)

FO with a long tail for sewing to the body later. Stuff with fiberfill.

TAIL
Start with C1 yarn.

R1: Ch 2 and insert 6 sc in the 2nd ch from hook. (6)

R2: (Sc, inc) x 3. (9)

R3: (Sc 2, inc) x 3. (12)

Switch to C2 yarn.

R4-R5: Sc around. (12)

R6: (Sc 2, dec) x 3. (9)

R7: Sc around. (9)

R8: (Sc, dec) x 3. (6)

R9: Sc around. (6)

R10: (Sc, dec) x 2. (4)

FO with a long tail for sewing to the body later. Lightly stuff with fiberfill.

Finishing
1. Sew the arms to the sides of the Body’s R8.

2. Position the legs to the front of the body (over R3-R4) and sew them down.

3. Sew the tail to the back of the body.

4. If you haven’t already, use a scrap of black thread to sew a nose to the face.

5. Sew the body and head together.

Ears

With the head facing you, Insert hook between R6-R7, Ch, hdc in same st.
count up 5 sts from the C2 under that 5th st.
color change in R6.

Ch, tr in next st. Ch. Hdc in next st.

Ch. Then, FO with tail. Pull First ear complete. Count 4 sts to the left.
both tails into head to secure
in a knot.

Attach yarn to the 4th st. Repeat for second ear. Both ears complete.

Parts

Once all parts are crocheted, you are ready for the finishing instructions!
Parts: head with ears, body, arms (x2), legs (x2), tail.

Finishing
(Note: photos below are of a different Pocket Plush, but the instructions are the same.)

Sew the arms to the sides of the Body’s R8. Sew the tail to the back of the body.
Sew the legs over the Body’s R3-R4.
