12mm Safety eyes or alternatives such as buttons,beads, felt, yarn, or embroidery floss.
Hook: US E/4-3.5mm,

Leave long tail for sewing. The shape should fit in the area of the arm bend. Pin to the neck
first and then along the rest of the arm, sewing it closer to the back of the arm to match the
rest of the wing.
Thumb: Make 2

Slst to fasten off. Leave tail for sewing. Attach to the
wing at the first bend.
Leg Panel: Make 2
Ch 15
Row 1: Sc in 2nd ch from hook, 2sc, 4hdc, 7dc,
fasten off.
Leave tail for sewing. This bat is based on a fruit bat,
therefor there are two small flaps of skin between the legs
rather that a tail with one larg one. Sew the two panels on
between the legs slighly closer to the back of the legs.
