ANNUAL REPORT - 2020 – 21

The achievements are many and here we have attempted to give you the highlights. We are happy to share with you the commendable performance
of our students in the Class X and XII board examinations. In class 12, Joel Thomas scored the school highest mark: 487/500. All 162 students
scored First class with an average of 88%. Our students got 4 centums 3 in Biology, 1 in Economics. 18 students secured a place in Medicine with
the majority on merit, including the topper Pranith Krishna topping the Erode district in NEET with 678 marks. More than 46 students have joined
Engineering including the topper Joel Thomas in IIT-JEE in the district, 2 in Architecture, 5 in Agriculture and many in business/commerce/art
related degrees. In all, our students have been placed in prestigious universities including AIIMS-Bhubaneswar, Madras Medical College, Kilpauk
Medical College, IIT-Jodhpur, NIT – Trichy, NIFT, Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER),
Azim Premji etc.

In grade 10, Bhuvaneshvar scored the school highest mark: 490/500. All 150 students scored 1st class with an impressive average of 89%. Our
students got 11 centums in Maths.

Due to the pandemic, our school successfully transitioned to the online mode of education. During the year, CS students appeared for various
external examinations and won laurels.

 Bhuvneshvar N, Koushika S, Kanishk M, Senthil Sivakumar cleared National Talent Search Examination – stage 1.
 6 students appeared for American Mathematics Contest (AMC). Out of them, Senthil Sivakumar qualified for American Invitational
Mathematics Exam (AIME).
 46 students appeared for the United Kingdom Mathematical Trust (UKMT). 23 of them, won various certificates.
  Lakshmi Shri(V), Nithin SP(IV) won gold medal and Kripali D(V) won a gift worth Rs. 1000/-, Gold medal and a certificate of excellence
in SOF Olympiad.
 Sharada T(VII), Pranav Karthi(VII) and Ilakkiya G(VII) won gifts worth Rs. 500/-, a medal of distinction and a certificate of distinction in
SOF Olympiad.
 Our students attended the virtual Harvard Model United Nations Conference for the eighth year in succession.
 CS Academy, Erode is now an accredited PSAT and SAT centre.
 We Involve our students in environment friendly activities by way of environmental club, cleanliness drives and embedding
environmental preservation in the curriculum that helps them to grow into aware citizens of the planet and make a difference to their
communities.

CO-SCHOLASTIC ACTIVITIES

Our students took part in various online cultural events and brought laurels. These include Public speaking, Dance, Music, Art & craft, Painting,
Singing, Fancy dress, Quiz etc. In total, they won 20 Gold, 9 silver and 9 bronze awards. Congratulations!

Dear parents, as you can see, CS Academy continues to innovate and introduce new programmes, while continuing to deliver high quality
academics. Our focus is on all round development and skill development which will help students in the long run.
