RECOMMENDATIONS!
• You can crochet the toy using any type of yarn, but it’s
important to match the yarn thickness with the appropriate
hook size.
• Keep in mind that every crocheter has their own style and
tension. The size and proportions of your toy may differ slightly
from those stated in this masterclass.
• Noticed that identical parts sometimes turn out slightly
different? The key rule for crocheting paired details is to make
them back-to-back. Avoid distractions—finish the first piece
and immediately start the second one.
• Sew all parts carefully and patiently, always checking for
symmetry.
Cup

We start by crocheting the bottom of the

cup in yellow (2 pieces).
1. 6 SC in MR
2. 6 INC (12)
3. (SC, INC) * 6 (18)
4. (2 SC, INC) * 6 (24)
5. (3 SC, INC) * 6 (30)

Cut the yarn after finishing the first

piece.
Place the first piece on top of the second
one and join them by crocheting 30 SL
ST through the back loops of both
pieces.
Cup (continued)

Now we continue crocheting the bottom

of the cup.

Attach purple yarn and, working in the

front loops only, crochet the base of the
cup:
1. (4 SC, INC) * 6 (36)
2. (5 SC, INC) * 6 (42)
3. (6 SC, INC) * 6 (48)
4-5. 48 SC (2 rounds)

Change to yellow yarn:

6. 48 SL ST
Cup (continued)

Now, attach white yarn and, working in the front loops

only on the opposite side, continue crocheting:
1. (4 SC, INC) * 6 (36)
2. (5 SC, INC) * 6 (42)
3. (6 SC, INC) * 6 (48)
4. (7 SC, INC) * 6 (54)
5. (8 SC, INC) * 6 (60)
6-8. 60 SC (3 rounds)
9. (9 SC, INC) * 6 (66)
10-11. 66sc (2 rounds)
12-17. 66 SC (6 rounds)

Insert the eyes between rounds 12 and 13, 15 stitches

apart.

Creating the Broken Cup Effect

For the next rounds, start each row from the

beginning, cutting the yarn at the end. This will avoid
turning rows and create the broken cup effect.
18. 65 SC, SL ST
19. 65 SC, SL ST
20. 65 SC, SL ST

Change to yellow yarn:

21. 66 SL ST
Handle
1. 5 SC in MR
2-3. 5 SC (2 rounds)
4. 5 INC (10)
5-18. 10 SC (14 rounds)
19. 5 DEC (5)
20-22. 5 SC (3 rounds)

Leave a long tail for sewing.

Attach the handle between rounds 6-16, centered
between the eyes.

Finishing the Cup

• Embroider the mouth, eyelashes, and eyebrows.
• Use dry pastel or blush to gently color the cheeks
for a soft, rosy effect.

This will add the final touches to your cup!
