CBSE Guidelines to prepare a project file:


Selection of topic should be from 8 topics discussed in the Class.
1. You can gather the required information of project from various resource books, newspapers,
magazines etc.
2. Use diagrams, pictures, graphs and flowcharts to make the project meaningful, creative and
presentable.
3. The project should be handwritten.
4. Make a complete work plan as to how you will prepare your project.Your project file should
include the objective of the project.
5. Summarisation of result, observations and conclusion are very important. It may be written in
paragraph or tabular form at the end of the project.
6. Project file should be prepared according to the sequence of context:
a) Cover page (including title of the project and name of the school)
b) Student information
c) Acknowledgement
d) Certificate
e) Index
f) Introduction of topic
g) Further elaboration ( eg. scope, objectives, features, advantages, disadvantages etc.)
h) Bibliography
7. Report file must be submitted immediately after the Summer Break for checking.
