1. Equipment information
1-1 Introduction
This product is a permanent magnet that adsorbs steel plates by generating magnetic
power instead of electric power.
Put the magnet over the steel plate to adsorb and turn right the On/Off lever of a
magnet. Then it makes magnetic force be formed to adsorb the steel plate. After
carrying it to the destination, turn left the On/Off lever. Then the magnetic force
turns off. It is a manual lever type lifting magnet.
1-2 Features
① This magnet does not require electric power supply.
② You can select only necessary magnet and turn it On or Off.
③ It is not necessary to add the power failure compensation function. This function
prevents objects from falling down at power failure.
④ It does not need a control panel.
⑤ Several magnets can be attached to a beam.

2. Operation guidelines
2-1 Before operation
Check if there are any foreign matters on the surface of magnet and materials before the
use of magnet.
If there are, air gap is generated between the steel plate and the surface of magnet and
accordingly holding power is dramatically reduced.
2-2 Operation guidelines
① Hang the magnet on the Crane Hook.
② Clean foreign matters between the surface of magnet and the surface of the steel plate.
③ Raise the Magnet and put over the steel plate. Then check if the magnet surface and the steel
plate are completely combined each other.
(When you put the magnet over the steel plate, put it on the center of gravity and make sure
that magnet is not shaken.)
④ Control the handle equipped in each magnet and turn "On" of only necessary volumes of
magnets.
⑤ Lift up the magnet about 100~200mm above ground.
⑥ Check if more than two steel plates are held. In case more than two steel plates are held,
separate each other by inserting a lever between those two steels.
⑦ Lift it up to the appropriate level and move it to the designated place safely.
2-3 After operation
After the storage of magnets, hang them on the crane and lift up. Then the magnets convert
into the On state. To prevent from this, please make sure to select one of the following
three storage methods.
① Hang the magnet on the Crane Hook for storage.
② Keep the magnet in the magnet storage desk. The desk is so manufactured that magnet
does not reach the surface of ground.
③ Keep the magnet in clean steel plate so that foreign matters are not on the adsorption surface
of the magnet. Keep it under the locking position so that magnet would not operate even
though it is hung by crane hook and lifted up.

3. Safety regulations
3-1 At use
① Make sure that the magnet is stably hung on the Crane Hook.
② Please keep the surface of magnet and that of adsorption clean all the time.
(If there is any foreign matter, holding power is dramatically reduced.)
③ Adsorb magnet on the center of gravity in the steel plate.
④ After holding magnets, concentrate your eyes on the held steel plate during its movement.
⑤ Do not lift up magnet unnecessarily high.
⑥ Move it safely to the destination.
⑦ Do not make the part of your body contact the lower part of the conveying object during its
conveyance.
(An operator shall keep away from the object by the specific distance.)
⑧ In case two steel plates are adsorbed, the bottom one might be unsafely adsorbed.
Separate them and then carry it.
⑨ If magnet is used, the surface roughness becomes worse and holding power lowers.
Periodically process or grind the surface of adsorption.
⑩ When hot steel plate is repeatedly adsorbed, the holding power dramatically lowers.
3-2 At storage
• Store magnets in clean place all the time so that foreign matters are not attached to the
holding surface of magnet.
