REVERSIBLE TULIP FAIRY

Reversible Flower series
Difficulty Level: Advanced Beginner
IMPORTANT TIPS: ABBREVIATIONS
It is recommended to crochet tightly by using This pattern is written in US Standard Crochet
a smaller crochet hook. Terms, and assumes knowledge of basic stitches.
Try to work every part using the same stitch R = row/round
tension. MR = magic ring
Count your stitches. st = stitch/stitches
Use a stitch marker or a piece of yarn to mark sc = single crochet
beginning/ending of the round. inc = sc increase (2 sc in the same st)
Each round is worked in a continuous spiral. inc3 = 3 sc in the same st
Do not join rounds with slip stitch or turn dec = sc decrease (crochet 2 st together)
unless stated otherwise. ch = chain
Crochet through both loops unless stated sl st = slip stitch
otherwise. hdc = half double crochet
It is highly recommended that you read hdc inc = 2 hdc in the same st
through the entire pattern before starting to dc = double crochet

BL = Back loop/loops
BLO = BL only
MATERIAL FLO = FL only

Yarn in the same size (I used 4 ply, cotton
blend yarn/cotton 60% and acrylic 40%) in the
following colors: pink, peach, green, skin color, DIMENSION
pale blue, black. The size will vary, depending on the yarn used. If

SPECIAL STITCHES

Invisible Finish
After completing the last st, cut the yarn
and pull on the loop to draw the tail. Using
the tapestry needle, skip the next st, and
insert the needle from front to back, under
both loops. Go back to the last st, and insert
the needle through the back loop of this st.
Pull on the tail.

Now, let's start !!

PETALS
Make 3 in peach and 3 in pink
Please work a little bit loosely while crocheting the
petals/skirt.
Crochet around the foundation chain. Work in
rows.
R1: Make foundation ch: 13ch, start from the

Now we will work the skirt. Please remember to
work a little bit loosely and use normal decrease
instead of invisible decrease (only when working
the petal skirt). Attach a new piece of pink/peach
yarn onto the flat side of the pink petal.
For each color, join the petals with the yarn tail
using the whip stitch technique in 4 stitches. Do
this until all the petals in the same colors are
joined as a circle.
