AUDITION SCRIPT

Shekhar: Main taiyyar hun tumse shadi karne ke liye. Lekin


main tumhe apne bare mein ek sach batana chahta hoon.

Tara : Kaisa sach ?

Shekhar : yahi ki asal me, main koi Ameer nahi balki ek gareeb
aadmi hoon.

Tara laughs.

Tara : Gareeb! Lekin tumhare kapdon se to aisa nahi lagta.

Shekhar acts defensive.

Shekhar : ye kapde, ye to meri uniform hai..Darasal main


company ke ceo ka driver hu. Meri salary bas 80 se 90 hazaar
hi hai..

Tara : (in a shocking tone) Baap re! Ye to meri salary se bhi


kahin zyada hai.

Shekhar : 80-90 hazaar rupay saalana keh raha tha. Matlab 7-8
hazaar per month. Aur wo bhi koi fixed nahi hai, pichle mahine
bas 5 hazar hi mile the.

Tara : Arre koi baat nhi. Tumhare paas ghar to haina?

Shekhar : haa ek chota sa ghar to hai.. Royal Enclave mein ek


ekdam chhota sa purana makaan hai, chaar log bhi badi mushkil
se aate hai usme.

Tara gets shocked.

Tara : Royal Enclave!! Ye to iss poore shaher ka sabse Posh

Shekhar gets frustrated that his cover up is not working.

Shekhar : Main tumhe sab sach batata hu! Mere paas koi bhi
ghar nahi hai aur mujhe jhoot bolne aur deengein haakne ki
buri aadat bhi hai.

Tara gets excited after hearing this.

Tara :(in a joyful and excited tone) What a coincidence! Ye


hui na baat. Mujhe bhi deenge haakna bohot pasand hai!

Main bhi ek salesperson hi hu, aur ameer bhi nahi hu par khoob
deenge haakti hu.

Gareebi se Darna nahi chahiye, dabakar haakna chahiye.

Ek din to sab sach hona hi hai, tab tak aise hi fekna chahiye.
Fake it till you make it!

Tara suddenly realizes that she got carried away and stops
laughing.

Tara : Umm. Main ek shoe sales person hu. Meri bhi income
tumhare aas paas hi hai. Haan kabhi kabhi thoda zyada kama
leti hu.

Ghar nahi hai, Gaadi bhi nahi hai..hum dono perfect match
hain!

Shekhar : lekin meri..

Tara stops Shekhar.

Tara : Relax! Tum aaram se apna time leke, soch ke batana, koi
jaldi nahi hai. Aakhir ek acchi saleswomen apne khareedaron ko
sochne ka pura samay deti hai. (Chuckles)

Shekhar nods in confusion.
