**Improvements provided by this service bulletin have been approved for new production
and existing units. Serial number effectivity will be provided when improvements are
incorporated in production.
++Converted engine, refer to Engine Log Book to determine serial number effectivity.
&Production Incorporation Point. Engines produced with serial number indicated and subse-
quent were shipped with either Fuel Pump, Part No. 3060710-7 or Part No. 3060710-20,
and flex tubing installed and the fuel heater check valve and associated tubing, clamps,

#Production Incorporation Point. Engines produced with serial number indicated and subse-
quent were shipped with either Fuel Pump, Part No. 3060710-2, Part No. 3060710-17, or
Part No. 3060710-24, and flex tubing installed and the fuel heater check valve and
associated tubing, clamps, etc, removed.
Engines, Part No. 3075330-3/3075370-2, with Fuel Pump, Part No. 3060710-2/-17/-24
installed, become Part No. 3075330-5/3075370-3 (as applicable). However, there have
been production engines shipped prior to the requirement for reidentification of the engine.
To ensure that the proper engine part (dash) number is entered, those operators with
engine serial number 101256/103162 (as applicable) and subsequent, should review the
engine Data Plate and Engine Log Book for proper engine identification. If engine is not
properly identified, reidentify engine as referenced in Step 2.B.(8).
Engines, Part No. 3075330-3/3075370-2, use Fuel Pump, Part No. 3070850-57.
*Production Incorporation Point. Engines produced with serial number indicated and subse-
quent were shipped with either Fuel Pump, Part No. 3060710-16 or Part No. 3060710-23,
installed.
%Production Incorporation Point. Engines produced with serial number indicated and subse-
quent were shipped with either Fuel Pump, Part No. 3060710-16 or Part No. 3060710-23,
and flex tubing installed and the fuel heater check valve and associated tubing, clamps,
etc, removed.
1. B. Reason
(1) Background: Honeywell Engines has contracted with Sundstrand Corporation for the
introduction of a new fuel pump that simplifies the TFE731 fuel system. Sundstrand
Fuel Pump, Part No. 3060710-All (where All denotes all dash numbers), suppresses
fuel vaporization without a fuel heater check valve, a component that has historically
degraded fuel system reliability. Additionally, the “hard” lines connecting the fuel pump
and fuel heater are replaced with flexible lines, further enhancing fuel system reliability
and maintainability.
However, alternate methods of complying with this service bulletin are as indicated in
Section 2.
