Chryslus Factory and The Stacks (Factory and scrapyard symbols in the central map
around dodge city)
Johnny Wheeler The Highwayman - Leader of the Raider Group "The Highwaymen" -
Raider Boss Stats - p387
Johnny Wheeler Is a greaser style car obsessed raider with a quick temper who leads
a very large group of raiders. This group rules the Dustbowl wasteland demanding
tribute from the towns and villages nearby. They all have a monthly tribute that
must be paid or the Highwaymen will come riding in the outfitted cars from the
factory and nearby junkyard.
There are roughly 120 Raiders in Johnny's Gang.
The Chryslus factory is their main building and where Johnny lives alongside 50 of
his closest compatriots.
The remaining 70 or so raiders live spread throughout Dodge City and the Stacks,
the Stacks are the scrapyard south of the Chryslus factory and are run by a Raider
Vetran - p390 - named Switch the statblocks only differences are that melee weapons
is swapped with repair and athletics is swapped with Melee weapons He uses a Large
Wrench with the same stats as the machete.
RobCo Plant (SW factory symbol) -
The Robco plant in the southwest is the first location the PC's will encounter and
is inhabited by dangerous robots. It hasn;t been scavenged heavily due to that and
most people stay away.
This can be the PC's home base if they clear it.
Tree Symbols - (Through the Western Central portion of the map)
These symbols indicate a lightly forested wilderness area.
Many animals can be found in this area and an especially dangerous Legendary Yao
Guai locally dubbed "Ripper" is the strongest of them (Yao Guai Statblock on page
354 with the following changes, Level 20 , +2 damage dice to claw, +1)
Common creatures found throughout the forest here are Yao Guai (rare encounters),
Radstags, Mutant Hound packs, Mole Rats, Radroaches, and stingwings. This list is
only appliccable to the strip of forested land indicated by the tree symbols.
Wild Bill's Wonderland Emporium - (Town symbol northwest of RobCo)
This area is a small strip mall that has been taken over and defended by a group of
around 10 survivors led by Wild Bill.
Wild Bill - (P 392 Mercenary stat block level 10 instead of 6 with Agi raised to 8
Combat rifle has Marksman's stock (+2 handed and accurate, - innaccurate +2 weight
) and Long Barrel (increase range by 1 step, +1 weight)
The rest of his crew has standard gunner stats from page 392
They've tamed several Radstags that they use as trade and food for their shops.
They have 10 special steeds that they ride into battle from their herd.
Wild Bills is open to anyone but weapons are checked at the front gate and the 5
shops in the strip mall have been converted, one is a merchant with good up to
rarity 3 but with prices listed at a 10% markup from book prices.
The other 4 are a restaurant, a bar, a billiard hall, and a brothel. There are
another 20 or so citizens that bill protects that live in the surrounding area and
work at the establishments. Bills 9 henchmen are called "The death riders"
Mel's Diner - (Town symbol northeast of bills)
Mel's diner is a corner diner run by Mel George, and old ghoul with the
"Quartermaster" stats on page 408
He has a single Super Mutant guard called Chauncey that usually stops any trouble
just by existing (Standard super mutant brute stat block page 368)
Mel's is a popular spot that serves food and sells chems
Garden City - Garden city is a Survivor settlement that grows Razorgrain and
Mutfruit and supplies a lot of the surrounding settlements as well as trading food
with the BoS outposts here.
The city is run by a former Enclave soldier called Seth Fortune, after realizing
what a crock The Enclave was he travelled north and settled. A Town grew out of
that and people flock to him for the large amount of protection and jobs the city
offers. The town is protected by guard towers and laser turrets and is patrolled by
"Fortune's Favored" The name of the Militia group the protects and polices the
town.
Seth Fortune - The town answers to Fortune, luckily he's a good guy who just wants
the area to prosper. He is probably the only settlement in the area that can get
away with defying The Highwaymen but he chooses to work with him because he wants
the area to stay harmonious and a war with them would be bad for the town. The
status quo keeps the peace.
Seth has an active bounty on Super mutants in the irradiated eastern farmland,
their tribal necklaces are the proof he requires, this is done because they are
distinctive and only built from the matereals in the irradiated farmlands and
because he doesn't want anyone hurting any of the civilized Super Mutants in the
town or surrounding areas. He uses the "Minuteman" stats from page 394 and the
Favor guardsmen use gunner stats from 392
Garden City has merchants that can provide up to a rarity 2 item.
Mac's Workshop - (town symbol northeast of Garden City)
This building is a public workshop maintained by Ol' Mac - (wastelander stats -
page 397 - replace small guns and survival with repair and barter )
The building houses every kind of work table needed for mods and crafting and Mac
Charges 50 caps an hour to use the workshop.
The workshop is guarded by a massive amount of turrets mounted everywhere inside
and outside of the building all controlled by Mac. (10 Machine Gun MK V on the
outside and 4 wall mounted laser turrets and 4 wall mounted machine gun turrets
inside)
Mac also has junk available for purchase that can then be salvaged using the
standard salvage rules on page 210
Vault 42 - (Vault symbol south of Mac's)
Vault 42 was designed to be populated by a large subset of varying people and was
seemingly very normal, they were given proper supplies and all the professionals
needed to keep a vault running, The vault was equipped with matter replication
technology that provided an endless supply of recycled nutrient paste in 4
different flavors.
The true experiment of this vault is that the doors were never designed to open
once sealed, this was to test to see whether or not people would be able to
indefinitely survive in an enclosed environment and whether the food replicators
were a viable technology.
PCs exploring the vault piece together that the vault ran well and there were no
problems until in 2301 the food replicators gave out and the engineers were unable
to repair it. This was actually not by design and was a genuine flaw caused by a
mistake in the manufacturing of the units. Over the course of the next three months
the rapid decline of the vault set in, with no way to escape and no food the
inhabitants began to horde what paste they could and when it ran out and people
began to starve the cannibalisation of bodies began. A short time later it devolved
into murder and finally the starvation of the final surviving vault dwellers.
In 2320 the air vents in the upper part of the vault that were just under the earth
were revealed in two separate small areas and began to rust and eventually opened a
small bit and access to the vault is now available to anyone willing to crawl
through the vents, as of now no human has discovered this but many animals and
ghouls have made their way in.
Use page 257 for encounters within. Replace 2-3 with radroaches, and 4-5 with
ghouls led by a pale one. Reward for 11-13 is non food items only.
The pc's could figure out how to open the door, also could salvage quite a bit as
it hasn't been scavenged at all.
The House of Health - Town symbol south of Vault 42
This is a nice 3 story house a rich person built in the pre war days and has been
outfitted to act as a hospital run by a a Nurse Handy that was programmed to act as
an MD. The residents of the area call him Doc. A few human survivor nurses and
assistants work here and it is considered neutral ground to all except the super
mutant tribes to the east.
BoS Outpost South and North - (BoS symbol east of the house of health and north of
irradiated farmland)
8 months ago a vertibird squad of BoS was sent in to eliminate Wheeler but they
were not prepared for the Mega Twister and the fleet was decimated, now the
surviving soldiers are trying to lay low and seek allies among the other groups
They have taken over two small houses one in the north and one in the south
There are 10 BoS remaining, 5 at each base.
Of the remaining living members 6 are knights, 2 are scribes, 1 is a lancer, and
one is a paladin. (starting page 383)
Each base has 1 scribe and 3 knights while the Paladin and lancer travel to
different area settlements attempting to sow discontent toward the highwaymen while
disguised as wandering traders.
They call themselves George(Paladin) and Howard(Lancer) and are convincing as
merchants. (These are the traders that find the PC's in the beginning.)
Irradiated Farmland - Farmland and radiation symbols to the east,
The line of rad symbols mark the area where heavy radiation occurs and without
proper radiation protection the area is deadly
When a character is in the irradiated zone every 10 minutes of exposure will result
in 2 piercing radiation damage.
The farmland symbols themselves are old area farms that now serve as camps for four
separate Super Mutant tribes, (Super mutant statblocks starting on page 366)
The northernmost is the Blood Eagle Tribe consisting of -

1 Super Mutant Brute (Tribal Chieftan Red Eye - Level 11 - +1 to S and +1 to All
skills )
The Blood Eagles are the most numerous tribe but the entire tribe is the standard
super mutant block so is overall weaker. in theory.
Their standard is a flayed human whose skin has been fashioned into wings.
The next one down, is the Gutstabbers -

This tribe trains suiciders and has a couple standard brutes so while not as
plentiful as The Blood Eagles, they can be more dangerous. The Gutstabbers standard
is the entrails of a human hung from a pole.
Below that is The Slime Wardens-

1 Brute (Chieftan Snot Chewer Level 11 +2 HP)
The Slime Wardens only consist of Brutes and suiciders and are considered very
dangerous, Snot Chewer loves poisoning his weapons and encourages the other Slime
Wardens to do so. All weapons from a member of the Slime wardens deal an additional
1 point of poison damage. The Slime Warden banner is a human brain nailed to a 2 by

Finally , the southernmost tribe is the Gore Punchers
20 Super Mutants (All super mutants in this tribe swap melee weapon and unarmed and
have knuckes replacing unarmed attack)
1 brute (Chieftain Glow Hand - Level 11 +1 S and +1 E , swap melee weapons skill
with Unarmed and add Bladed mod to knuckles replacing unarmed strike)
This small but powerful tribe trains with knuckles. Thier banner is several human
skulls hanging from strings off of a pole.
Slightly to the east in the center of all the tribes where Haviland is written on
the map there is secretly someone who controls the four tribes uniting them.
The true danger in the dustbowl wastelands that will sweep over it like a plague if
not dealt with.
A Super Mutant Master only referred to as Overlord who has control of a Super
Mutant Behemoth called Stomper has united the tribes and plans in 5 months time
from the beginning of the campaign to lead them as an army west to sweep across the
dustbowl smashing all the humans and taking the dustbowl for his own.
He leads from a Secret Vault Tec research center that he has taken over. He has
access to a high level of technology and has been using a mind control drug to
control the Super Mutant tribes.

Stomper - Super Mutant Behemoth Level 20 (+2 hp)
If the army is assembled and mobilized Overlord Rides into battle on a specialized
saddle atop Stomper.
If the pc's discover the Super Mutants plan the attack can be prepared for and
Wheeler can be convinced to help in the defense.
They can also attempt a highly dangerous mission into the dangerous vault tec lab
filled with Super Mutant Brutes, Security measures like hazards and traps and make
thier way to a basement filled with dangerous glowing ones to activate a self
destruct program that will destroy Overlord and stomper causing the tribes to go
back to warring with one another and not remaingin a threat.
Timeline of events if no pc interaction is ever taken beyond arrival.
Year 2377
Thursday October 13th - The Mega Twister has a brief opening but no one comes
through. - The runners arrive. X
Sunday - Oct 23rd - Vault 42 opens -
Monday - Oct 24th - George and Howard arrive at Wild Bill's and talk him in to
assisting them against Wheeler when the time comes.
Tuesday Oct 25th - The traders arrive at Garden City and speak with Fortune, they
are allowed to stay in the city for a time and are given a 1 month pass.
Monday Oct 31st - The traders successfully begin sowing discord in Garden City to
try to get Fortune to go against Wheeler to keep his people happy.
Monday Nov 7th - The traders leave Garden City to travel back to check on the North
and South outposts.
Tuesday Nov 8th -The Overlord Learns of the BoS and worried they may discover him,
send super mutants to annhialte the northern outpost.
Wednesday Nov 9th - The traders arrive at Outpost North and find it overrun with
Super Mutants who have killed the knights and scribe there and burned the outpost
to the ground. They blame Wheeler and travel south.
Thursday Nov 10th - The traders arrive at BoS south and they relocate to the RobCo
Plant and remove the robots inside taking it over. They begin repurposing the
robots inside to consider them freindlies and reoutfit their weapons. The scribe
that remains assembles a Sentry bot from parts in area 2.
Friday Nov 11th - The traders travel north back to Garden City and ask for another
week pass. They are granted and find the climate in the city rebellious as the
people now are firmly wanting to rebel against Wheeler. The traders continue to
foment rebellion and stoke the flames.
Saturday Nov 12th - The months Tributes are due and Wheeler send the now Energy
weapon armed troops out to gather tributes, starting with the house of health, then
north to Mac's, they both give their tributes.
Sunday Nov 13th - Wheelers collectors travel to Wild Bills, he gives them tribute
despite agreeing to help the traders. They then travel north to Garden City.
Fortune, trying to calm his people refuses tribute and the collectors are forced
back to report it to Wheeler as they are greatly outnumbered and were not expecting
trouble. The traders leave to head back to the RobCo factory.
Monday Nov 14th - Wheeler is furious and sends Half his forces to Garden City with
all the heavy artillery broken out.
The BoS now donning their Power Armor and leading their robotic companions head
toward dodge city to attack while their forces are split and kill as many raiders
as they can, but on the way they discover Vault 42 and instead assault it killing
the 10 raiders and switch who were left inside. They close the door and repurpose
Vault 42 as their base.
Wheeler destroys the gates of Garden City and disables most of the turrets in his
attack, he indiscriminately kills as the army rolls through the streets, after
confronting Fortune fortune's hands are cut off as an example and Wheeler leaves
with 2/3rd of the population of garden city dead and about 15 of his own raiders
dead.
Fortune survives and is rushed to the House of Healing as the month ends and the
day closes.
Tuesday Nov 15th - Wheeler asesses the damage to his troops and rests. The BoF
scribe uses spare parts and vault technology to assemble a working Fat Man launcher
and begins work on doing so.
Tuesday Nov 22nd - The scribe finishes the Fat Man and begins gathering parts to
build mini nukes. Wheeler realizes switch hasnlt contacted him in several days but
shrugs it off thinking he is engrossed in his work, he plans on heading to the
vault tomorrow.
The BoF after gathering parts travel north to Mac's to use the workshop. They set
up camp just north of Mac's so the scribe can use the workshop for several days in
a row.
Wednesday Nov 23rd - Wheeler, arriving at the vault and finding switch and the
others missing, the door open, and noone there travel toward the scrapyard to see
if he is there, but on the way find some freshly dug roadside graves, they dig up
the graves and find the bodies fo Switch and the others left at the vault. Furious
he blames Garden City and thinks it was retaliation. He returns to the Chryslus
plant and prepares to wipe garden city out completely. He wants to take his time
and savor it so prepares his most powerful artillery, a modified Highwayman with a
missile launcher attached and has his smart guys go to the scrapyard and spend a
few days assembling rockets. He begins handing out combat drugs to his soldiers.
Saturday Nov 26th - The BoF Scribe finishes making several mini nukes and the gear
up to attack dodge city.
Wheeler rides out Early in the morning and crushes Garden city under his boot
eliminating every citizen and then decapitating fortune and putting his head on a
pike outside the city.
On thier ride back to Dodge City they run in to the Bof survivors who were on their
way to gather Bill for his promised assistance.
Wheeler seeing BoF power armor and the BoF seeing wheeler riding the modified
Highwayman begin a hasty battle in the middle of the road, George, cursing their
luck begins firing rapid successions of mini nukes decimating many ranks of raiders
as the 3 remaining knights held the line and the scribe and lancer fired their
combat rifles from behind them.
The sheer numbers of raiders quickly overwhelmed them but not before the highwayman
was destroyed and Wheeler lost an eye from shrapnel. The BoF were eventually pried
loose from their power armor and executed but not after killing at least 30
Highywaymen raiders.
Now in possession of 4 suits of Power Armor and a fat man Wheeler returns to Dodge
city to lick his wounds.

Monday March 13th - After months of Healing and the status Quo returning, minus
Garden City and the Bof the raiders numbers are thinned War Drums are Heard from
the east.
Tuesday March 14th - Overlord riding Stomper at the head of an army of Super
Mutants spills forth from the east sweeping across the Dustbowl. They first travel
south and decimate the House of Health then travel North , They stop at the
Outskirts of Dodge city and shout message demanding surrender from a Megaphone.
Wheeler seeing the size of the army at his doorstep flees with a few of his trusted
Liutenants to the edges of the Mega Twister in the north , seeking a way past or an
opening.
The Super mutants flatten dodge city and the scrapyard and travel north to flatten
Mac's.
Wednesday March 15th - Overlord travels west and destroys Wild Bills. They travel
back east to the Irradiated Farmlands and Overlord begins to parcel out sections of
the land for each tribe.
Thursday March 16th , Wheeler dies trying to get through the Mega Twister even
though an opening wasn't present.
Overlord begins mandating an aggressive breeding progran among the captured human
survivors to create more Super Mutants using the FEV formula found in the Vault tec
lab.
10 years later the Mega Twister dies down and a massive army of super mutants
spills out to claim the entire wasteland, starting with the Enclave to the south.
