thrust on innovation & indigenization. ECIL operates in strategic sectors like Nuclear, Defence,
Aerospace, Information Technology, Telecom, Network & Homeland Security, CBRN and e-
Governance. ECIL pioneered a number of products and technologies include Solid State Television,
Digital Computer, Cockpit Voice Recorders, Electronic Voting Machines, Programmable Logic

Electronics Corporation of India Limited is looking for dynamic, experienced and result oriented
personnel for following posts purely on fixed tenure contract basis, for an initial period of One year
(extendable up to 4 years including initial term, depending on project requirements & satisfactory
performance of the candidate) to work for Business verticals located in Port Blair, A & N Islands.

Alongside the mentioned consolidated emoluments, the selected candidate will be eligible for other

III. RESERVATIONS AND RELAXATIONS:
Reservations & Relaxations for PwD/Ex. SM will be as per Presidential directives.
Age Relaxation: Candidates belonging to PwBD category, having minimum 40% disability or more will
get 10 more years relaxation in addition to the relaxation applicable to the categories mentioned
above. Further, the upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for candidates who had ordinarily been
domiciled in the State of Jammu & Kashmir from 01/01/1980 to 31/12/1989.
IV. HOW TO APPLY:
a) Eligible candidates have to apply on-line by visiting our website “www.ecil.co.in” (Main Page >
Careers > Current Job Openings). The on-line application process will be operational from
25/06/2025 (14.00 hrs.) to 06/07/2025 (14.00 hrs.).
b) Candidate should furnish actual information/data while filling on-line application form and must
produce the supporting document during verification (personal, academic & professional
credentials). If the candidate fails to do so, the candidature shall be rejected at any stage of
recruitment process.

c) After applying on-line & successful registration, the candidate is required to take the print of
registered on-line application form and retain for future reference without fail. The candidate
can take re-print of his/her registered on-line application form before the last date for on-line
registration.
d) After closing the registration process & shortlisting, a video conference link will be sent to the
eligible candidates with an intimation (Date & VC Slot timing) to attend the Interview (Virtual
Mode).
V. SELECTION METHOD (through video conference):
a. Based on data provided in On-line application, Candidates shall be shortlisted in order of merit based
on marks obtained in B.Tech/BE in the ratio of 1:4. In case of a tie, the candidates with higher marks
in Class XII standard shall be considered. In case of a further tie, the candidate with earlier date of
Birth shall be considered.
b. Upon short listing, call letters will be issued to the eligible candidates with an advice to attend the
Personal Interview through virtual mode. Further, Candidates will be evaluated based on
performance in the Personal Interview and final recommendations shall be made as per the merit
against 100 marks.

c. Experience from Academic Institutions / Colleges / Internship / Project work shall not be considered.
VI. GENERAL CONDITIONS:
a. Cut-off date for calculation of age & post-qualification experience (and wherever applicable) is as
on 31/05/2025.
b. Candidates should ready to work anywhere in India as per the need / organization requirements.

c. Candidate should read the complete advertisement carefully and ensure that he / she has fulfilled
the eligibility criteria of the post stated in the advertisement in all respects. And, candidate should
apply for one category of post only, applying to multiple posts is not allowed.
d. It is mandatory to the candidates who are already working with any of the units of Electronics
Corporation of India Limited (on rolls) to obtain a letter from the respective Reporting Officer
seeking permission to attend the selection process and need to submit the letter as and when
required.
e. Company reserves the right to alter the no. of posts or cancel the whole process of recruitment
without assigning any reason.
f. All qualifications should be from a recognized Indian University / Institution recognized by
appropriate Statutory Authority.
g. The application is liable for rejection at any stage of recruitment process in case of suppression of
facts/furnishing of false information.

h. Decision of ECIL in all matters regarding eligibility of the candidate, place of posting, stages at
which such scrutiny of eligibility is to be undertaken, qualifications and other eligibility norms will
be final and binding on the candidate.
i. Any Legal proceeding in respect of any matter / claim or dispute arising out of this advertisement
and / or any application in response thereto can be instituted only limited to Courts at GHMC
(Kapra Circle) alone shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
