TIPS AND INFO


Increases
M1R (make one right)
Pick up the bar between two stitches back to front using the left-hand needle. Knit this bar
through the front loop.

M1L (make one left)


Pick up the bar between two stitches front to back using the left-hand needle. Knit this bar
through the back loop.

I-cord edging
With needle 5 mm: CO 2 sts using the knitted method on the left-hand needle. Work *k1,
k2tog tbl. Move the 2 knit stitches from the right-hand needle back onto the left-hand
needle. * repeat *to* until all sts have been bound off. BO the remaining 2 stitches and sew
the i-cord neatly together.

BLOUSE
CO 64 (70, 76, 82, 88, 94) sts using needles 6 mm, 40 cm and 2 strands of Friends Kid Silk
held together. Place a stm at the beginning of round.

Raglan
Note: change to 80 cm wire when necessary.

Work one round while at the same time setting up for raglan:
Knit 10 (11, 12, 13, 14, 15) sts (back panel, left side), stm, k1, stm, k 10 (11, 12, 13, 14, 15)
(left sleeve), stm, k1, stm, k 20 (22, 24, 26, 28, 30) (Front panel), st m, k1, stm, k 10 (11, 12, 13,
14, 15) (right sleeve), stm, k1, stm, k 10 (11, 12, 13, 14, 15) (Back panel, right side)

Rnd 1: *knit until first stm, m1r, slip stm, k1, slip stm, m1l* repeat increases at the next 6
markers. Knit until end.

Rnd 2: Knit

The total stitch count will increase with 8 sts after each rnd of increases.

Repeat rnd 1 + 2 until you have worked a total of 16 (17, 18, 19, 20, 22) increase rounds.

I.e., a total of 32 (34, 36, 38, 40, 44) rounds i = 192 (206, 220, 234, 248, 270) sts on your
needles

The yoke now measures approx.: 15 (16, 17, 18, 19, 21) cm / 5.9 (6.3, 6.7, 7.1, 7.5, 8.3) inches.

The stitches are divided like this:


26 (28, 30, 32, 34, 37) sts (Back, left side), 1 r-st, 42 (45, 48, 51, 54, 59) sts (left sleeve), stm, 1
r-st, stm, 52 (56, 60, 64, 68, 74) sts (Front panel), stm, 1 r-st, stm, 42 (45, 48, 51, 54, 59) sts
(right sleeve), stm, 1 r-st, stm, 26 (28, 30, 32, 34, 37) sts (Back, right side)

Dividing for body and sleeves


The 4 raglan stitches will be part of the body stitches. Remove the markers as you reach
them.

Knit 27 (29, 31, 33, 35, 38) sts, place 42 (45, 48, 51, 54, 59) sts to rest (left sleeve), CO 4 (6, 6,
8, 8, 10) sts, knit 54 (58, 62, 66, 70, 76) sts, place 42 (45, 48, 51, 54, 59) sts to rest (right
sleeve), CO 4 (6, 6, 8, 8, 10) sts, knit 27 (29, 31, 33, 35, 38) sts.

= 116 (128, 136, 148, 156, 168) sts on your needles

Continue in stockinette stitch until work measures: 29 (30, 31, 32, 35, 37) cm or desired
length from the armhole.

I-cord
Finish with an I-cord edge as described in the ‘Tips and info’ section.

SLEEVES
Move the 42 (45, 48, 51, 54, 59) resting for the sleeve onto circular needles 6, 40 cm. Pick up
and knit 4 (6, 6, 8, 8, 10 sts in the newly cast on sts under the sleeve. Work around in
stockinette stitch across all the sts of the sleeve. Place a stm between the 4 (6, 6, 8, 8, 10)
new cast on sts. This will be your beginning of round.

Continue in stockinette stitch until sleeve measures 44 cm/ 17.3 inches or desired length.

I-cord
Finish with an I-cord edge as described in the ‘Tips and info’ section.

Make the other sleeve the same way.

NECK
I-cord
Pick up and knit 64 (70, 76, 82, 88, 94) sts along the neck opening using circular needles 5
mm, 40 cm. Start in the middle of the back of neck opening. Work an I-cord edge as
described in the ‘Tips and info’ section.

Weave in ends and your blouse is finished ☺
