Pattern repeats
Pattern, in the round on circular needles
Round 1: *knit 3, yarn over, slip 1 knitwise, knit 2 together, pass slipped stitch over, yarn
over*, repeat between *-* until end of round.
Rounds 2, 3 & 4: knit.
Round 5: *yarn over, slip 1 knitwise, knit 2 together, pass slipped stitch over, yarn over, knit
3*, repeat between *-* until end of round.
Rounds 6, 7 & 8: knit.

Pattern, back and forth on circular needles


Row 1, right side: *knit 3, yarn over, slip 1 knitwise, knit 2 together, pass slipped stitch over,
yarn over*, repeat between *-* until end of row.
Row 2, wrong side: purl.
Row 3, right side: knit.
Row 4, wrong side: purl.
Row 5, right side: *yarn over, slip 1 knitwise, knit 2 together, pass slipped stitch over, yarn
over, knit 3*, repeat between *-* until end of row.
Row 6, wrong side: purl.
Row 7, right side: knit.
Row 8, wrong side: purl.

Pattern
Ribbing
Cast on 192 (204, 216, 228, 240) stitches on a 3 mm circular needle. Join to knit in the round
and knit ribbing: knit 1, purl 1.
Knit 4 cm of ribbing.

Body
Change to size 3.5 mm circular needle.
Knit 2 rounds.
Proceed to knit in pattern in the round on circular needles until work measures 32 (32,
33, 33, 34) cm.
Place a stitch marker at the beginning and middle of the round = 96 (102, 108, 114, 120)
stitches for each half.

Armhole shaping
*Knit to 3 (4, 5, 6, 7) stitches before next stitch marker, loosely bind off 6 (8, 10, 12, 14)
stitches*, repeat between *-* once more = 90 (94, 98, 102, 106) stitches for each half.

Now you will knit the back and leave the front stitches to rest.

Back
Proceed in pattern, but now in pattern back and forth on circular needles.

Armhole shaping
Right side: Knit 1, knit 2 together through the back loop, continue in pattern (back and forth)
to 3 stitches left on needle, knit 2 together, knit 1 = 2 stitches decreased.
Decrease on every right side row for a total of 7 (8, 9, 10, 11) times = 76 (78, 80, 82, 84)
stitches.
Knit until armhole measures 15 (16, 17, 18, 19) cm.

Bind off loosely.

Front
Continue in pattern back and forth on circular needles.

Armhole and neck shaping


Decrease for the armhole as on the back, and AT THE SAME TIME work neck shaping,
starting when the armhole measures 6 (6, 6, 7, 7) cm.

Neckline
Left side
Place a stitch marker on each side of the middle 18 stitches.
Right side: knit to stitch marker.
Wrong side: bind off 4 (4, 5, 5, 6) stitches, knit to end of row.
Right side: knit to stitch marker.
Wrong side: bind off 3 stitches, knit to end of row.

Proceed to bind off 3 x 2 stitches and 2 x 1 stitches in the beginning of every wrong side row
= 14 (15, 15, 16, 16) stitches for shoulder.
Knit until armhole measures 17 (18, 19, 20, 21) cm.
Place a stitch marker in the armhole side = middle of the shoulder.
Knit 2 cm. Bind off.

Place the middle stitches on a stitch holder.

Right side
Right side: knit in pattern.
Wrong side: purl.
Right side: bind off 4 (4, 5, 5, 6) stitches, knit to end of row.
Wrong side: purl.
Right side: bind off 3 stitches, knit to end of row.
Wrong side: purl.

Proceed to bind off 3 x 2 stitches and 2 x 1 stitches in the beginning of every right side row =
14 (15, 15, 16, 16) stitches for shoulder.
Knit until armhole measures 17 (18, 19, 20, 21) cm.
Place a stitch marker in the armhole side = middle of the shoulder.
Knit 2 cm. Bind off.

Neckband
Sew the shoulders together with the back.
Pick up stitches along the neck edge on a 3 mm circular needle (about 23 stitches for every
10 cm) and continue in the round using magic loop.
Knit 2 cm ribbing: knit 1, purl 1.
Bind off in rib pattern.

Armhole edges
Pick up stitches along the armhole on a 3 mm circular needle (about 23 stitches for every 10
cm) and continue in the round using magic loop.
Knit 2 cm ribbing: knit 1, purl 1.
Bind off in rib pattern.
