*ATTENTION! When, in the same row, you work a knit

and place the working yarn behind your work to make a
knit stitch.

1. Turn your work 90 degrees. With color B, pick up 4
stitches along one of the sides of the side edge of the
ribbing worked with color B. With the picked up stitches,
work rows 1 to 80 in garter stitch. This means knit all
stitches on all rows.

5. Once you have chained 47 [49, 51, 51], cut the yarn,
leaving an 8-inch (20 cm) tail and pull the yarn out
through the last stitch.

7. Now, thread the tapestry needle with the same yarn
you used for your project and sew both straps to the
back. To do so, place the front on a flat surface with
the wrong side facing up, find stitch 16 on each side
(counting on one side from the left, and on the other side
from the right). Fold the edges of the triangle towards the
center and sew each strap to the marked stitches.

8. To finish, make a knot and weave in the tail end of

yarn about 3 inches (8 cm), cut off even with the fabric.
Weave in any loose ends in the same way.
