 What are your Roles and Responsibilities Being a IT Recruiter ? OR what is


your Day to day activities as a US Recruiter?
Once i get the requirements to my email id from the Account
Manager, I Understand the requirement then I will prepare the
Boolean search string according to the requirement and also
according the skill set, then i will source the Best Matching Resumes
from job boards like Monster and CareerBuilder also ATS (Job Diva) If
I’m getting good profiles, then i will pick up the best profile, and will
send the Job Description to Them, i will try to reach that candidate,
through phone by explaining about the Job Description clearly, If he is
comfortable with the requirement then i will send rate confirmation
then After getting rate confirmation and complete details from the
Candidate, I will submit it to the Account Manager Through Email, If
the Candidate get shortlisted for the Interview then I will schedule the
interview and do regular follow –up.
 How many Submissions you give in a day?
- I submit 1-2 resumes on a Daily Basis and 7-8 Resumes on Weekly basis.
 How many calls you make in a day? And what will be the call duration per
call?
I make around 50-60 calls on a Daily Basis, and the Duration for a call will be
around 7-8 Minutes.
 How do you make calls to candidates?
- I make calls to candidates through Vonage App

 How many Tax Terms are there in US


There are 3 Tax Terms in USA
 W2- The Candidate will be on the payroll of staffing companies.
Staffing company is liable to pay the tax on behalf of the
candidate, 100/1.35= 74
 C2C - Staffing company (Corp 1) and Bench Sales
Company (Corp 2), when two corporations deal with
each other then we call it Corp to Corp or C2C.The
Candidate will be on the payroll of his employer /
Bench Sales Companies.and The Employer of the
Candidate is liable to pay the Tax, 100 /1.25 = 80

 1099 - We don’t deduct taxes; taxes are paid


by candidates themselves.Only USC and GC
are applicable.

 How many Time Zones are there in USA


- We have 9 Time Zones (PST, MST, CST, EST,Hawai and Alaska)But we
only work on EST, MST, CST PST

 In which time zone does your staffing company Operate?


o My Staffing Company Operates in EST Time Zone

 If there is 3 PM in EST then what would be the time in MST?

I have Recruited US Citizens, GC , H1B, H4EAD, L2EAD.
 Can we recruit H1B Visa holder on W2? If yes or no, then what’s the
reason? –
We basically cannot Recruit H1B Candidate on W2 but if the candidate
wants to be on staffing company payroll then we can hire H1B on W2,
but in our company we don’t hire H1B on W2.
 Can we recruit H4 EAD Visa holder on W2?
Yes we Can Hire H4EAD ON W2
Can we recruit L2-EAD Visa holder on C2C? –
Yes
 Can we recruit an L1 Transfer Visa holder on W2?
No we cannot hire L1 visa Holder
 Can we recruit F1 Visa holder on W2? –
No(Note: H1B is the only visa that will be applicable on C2C only, but all
other eligible Visas will be applicable on both W2 and C2C).
 How will you identify whether H1B is genuine or fake?
- By checking candidates travel history on I-94 and by some visual
aspects of Visa like – (Candidate’s Name, DOB, Visa Expiry date)
 Name the document that is required to check candidates travel history
on i94?
- Passport is required , First and last name or DOB.
 How many types of H1B are there?
- I-797A (If the candidate is in the USA and gets H1B) - I-797B (If the
candidate is out of USA and gets H1B) - I-797C (It is just a Receipt /
Document)
 Who is a Green card Holder ?

A GREEN CARD HOLDER (PERMANENT RESIDENT) IS SOMEONE WHO HAS BEEN


GRANTED AUTHORIZATION TO LIVE AND WORK IN THE UNITED STATES ON A
PERMANENT BASIS. AS PROOF OF THAT STATUS, A PERSON IS GRANTED A
PERMANENT RESIDENT CARD, COMMONLY CALLED A "GREEN CARD
