(California) in 1955, the result of the
relationship between Abdulfattah
Jandali, a Muslim Syrian immigrant, later

Joanne Caroline Schieble, an American of
German and Swiss descent, then two
young college students who gave him up
for adoption to a middle-class couple,
Paul Jobs and Clara Hagopian, she of
