Manage Launchpad Spaces & Pages in SAP Fiori

Efficient navigation in SAP Fiori is key to user productivity, and the Manage Launchpad Spaces
and Manage Launchpad Pages apps play a crucial role in structuring content effectively.

Manage Launchpad Spaces (SAP Fiori app based on SAPUI5) allows customers to organize
their FLP experience by creating and modifying spaces. These spaces:

Require a transport request for customization

Contain an ID, description, title, and at least one page

Must start with "Z" or "Y" when customized by customers


Manage Launchpad Pages lets users configure pages by assigning business catalogs as tile
sources. Key points:

A space must be assigned to a role before adding apps to a page

Tiles can be assigned via role-based catalogs or manually

To display a tile, its business catalog must be part of the user's master record
Best Practices for Spaces & Pages

One business role = One space

One space = 1-5 pages (each focusing on a business task)

One page = 2-5 sections (arranged from insights to actions)

One section = 3-7 logically ordered tiles

Max 25 tiles per page for clarity & usability

A well-structured FLP ensures that users can quickly access what matters most while keeping
the UI clean and efficient.
