ACTIVITY 18 | Daily Task Record/Daily Journal
A daily task record is a work log that summarizes how an employee spent his
time on the job. Through a daily work log, an employee can create a mental picture of
what comprises his day and how he uses his time. It is also helpful in understanding
how productive an employee is during a particular period of the workday.
Accomplish your daily task record.

ACTIVITY 1 | THE WORKER
Work is on your way. Are you prepared to work? Do you have the potential,
character, talents, and skills to take up the vigour of being a worker? What should you
possess to become a good worker? How will you prepare for work immersion?
Work isn't just about clocking in and getting paid; it's about pushing yourself, and
making an impact. I've never been the type to just sit back and follow the flow, whether
it's in sports, software development, or leadership. From my experiences I've always
pushed myself to think outside the box and communicate with foreign people. So when I
ask myself if i'm ready my answer is i've prepared myself for this so I am ready.
To thrive in any job, you need the right mix of skill, mindset, and work ethic. I
know my strengths. I've built front-end development skills in React Native, Figma, and
Python, designed projects that made it to the Google Play Store and taken leadership
roles in marketing, logistics, and even the student government body. But beyond the
technical stuff. I know what it means to work with a team. I don't just want to do well for
myself. A good worker isn't just skilled, but disciplined, adaptable, and someone people
actually want to work with. I make sure I accomplish those expectations.
As for work immersion, I want to make an impact. ill prepared by doing what I
always do; researching the company im going to work with, learn some basic language
of theirs to get through any communication barriers, and making to bring value to
whatever team im joining. Showing up on time doing more than what's expected and
treating it like it's and treating it like it's the real thing not just trial run and because I
know that growth comes from experience. I'll be asking questions, taking notes, and
figuring out how I could push myself even further.
ACTIVITY 2 | DO’s AND DON’Ts

the day once you are done working.
Reflection:
Do you agree to the company policy guidelines, rules, and agreement? Support
your answer.
I fully agree with the company’s policies, rules, and agreements because they’re
not just about following procedures, they're about looking out for each other. In a
production environment where even small mistakes can lead to big risks, these
guidelines help keep things safe, clean, and efficient. By sticking to them, we’re not just
protecting ourselves, we’re also showing respect for our coworkers and taking pride in
the quality of the work we do together.
Was there a rule that you think is not acceptable to you? Why?
While I understand and respect the reasoning behind limiting PPE replacements
to once a day mainly to conserve resources it’s also important to consider real-life
situations where flexibility is necessary. If someone’s PPE gets damaged, contaminated,
or overly dirty during work, continuing to use it could pose a safety or hygiene risk. In
cases like that, exceptions should absolutely be made. That said, I trust that my
classmates and I are mindful enough with how we move and carry ourselves, so
hopefully, situations like that won’t come up. Still, having that backup option would be a
smart call.
