Have/Has- used when you own something.

Subject + have / has + object


Have- I, you, we, they
Has- He, She, It (singular pronouns)
POSITIVE SENTENCE
Example:
I have a pen. – meaning I own a pen.
He has a cellphone. – means he owns a phone.

NEGATIVE SENTENCE
Subject + do not / does not + have + object
Do – 2 or more subjects
Does – singular or only 1
Example:
Koke does not have a pen. / doesn’t
Kyla and An do not have a book. / don’t

QUESTION SENTENCE
Do / Does + subject + have + object

Example:
Do you have a pen? – Yes, I do. / No I don’t
Does she have a pen? – No, she doesn’t. / Yes, she does.
PREPOSITIONS OF TIME

At – very specific time: numbers


Example:
- I will at breakfast at 8:00am.
On – specific time : day
Example:
- She is absent on Friday.
- She arrives on Monday.
In – months / seasons
Example:
- The school starts in July.
- The students will have a trip in December.
- The leaves bloom in Spring.

Has / have – auxiliary verbs


Subject + has / have + verb + object
