system in the Indo-Pacific region.

MISSION
As the authority in the Social Welfare and Development sector, the DSWD
develops, implements, enables, and coordinates SWD policies and
programs for and with the poor, vulnerable, and disadvantage.

MAAGAP AT MAPAGKALINGA emphasizes empathy, understanding,
and providing care to individuals, families, and communities in need. It
reflects the DSWD’s recognition of the inherent worth and dignity of every
