CHAPTER 1.

THE BIBLE
Dear instructor, the teaching of this chapter will be based on the important points below.
And to make your lesson lively, we ask you to have a Bible as material.
didactic and if possible, the children too
I. THE DEFINITION: The Bible is a collection (book containing) of promises of
commandments and divine acts gathered and classified by believing men it is
also called "holy scriptures"
II. PARTIES AND CONTENTS: The Bible is divided into two main parts
A) The Old Testament: which includes the writings concerning the history of the
the creation, the evolution, and the history of the people of Israel and the poetic books and
prophecies written before the birth of Jesus Christ
The Old Testament consists of the following books:
The Pentateuch or the Books of the Law: from Genesis to Deuteronomy
books of Moses
The 12 historical books: from Joshua to Esther
The 5 poetic books: from Job to the Song of Songs
The 17 Prophetic Books from Isaiah to Malachi (presented in their order)
magnitudes
The apocryphal or deuterocanonical books: Judith, the wisdom of
Salomon, Tobit, Sirach, Baruch, Maccabees I and II, and addition to Esther,
story of Suzanne and Daniel, beautiful and dragon, the prayer of Azarias, the
song of the three young men and the prayer of Manasseh.
B) The New Testament: Which includes the traditional writings recounting the
mission and the activity of Jesus and the apostles as well as the epistles to
community of the primitive church and the apocalypse of John

The New Testament consists of the following books

The 5 historical books; The Gospel according to Matthew to the Acts of
apostles
The 21 didactic books: From Paul's letter to the Romans to the letter of
Jude. Even if the style of the Epistle to the Hebrews resembles that
adopted by the apostle Paul, let us avoid the mistake of attributing this epistle
to the Apostle Paul. The styles are linked to the time of the writing of this
epistle style also adopted by the apostles
The prophetic book: the apocalypse of John or revelation.

N.B: all the books constituting 'the Bible', known to Jesus and the
the first apostles were put in the form currently known around
90-100 AD, during a Jewish synod (council) in Jamnia. The elder

and the Old Testament around the years 90-100 AD.
The Epistle to the Romans takes the 1erposition because it is the longest and most important (see
our family n°3/2009P.26
III. USE AND INTERPRETATION OF THE BIBLE: certainly, the Bible is not just a narrative
complete and without gaps of the divine Acts, but out of love for God, he preserved
the essence to the intention of its people over the past times. These writings
bear witness to the coming (birth) and mission of Jesus (John 5:39), and
constitute the foundation of the teaching provided within the NEO church
APOSTOLIC. It must hold a prominent place in the life of the Christian.

When it comes to its interpretation, only the Apostle Patriarch and the Apostles in communion
with him, they who have received the ministry of the Holy Spirit, are able to interpret
(Matthew 28:19-20, Mark 16:15, 1 Corinthians 2:10, John 16:13)
Each book of the Bible is composed of chapters and verses to facilitate the
search. ( Dear instructor, please train the children to search for the chapters and
verses and the reading of the Bible according to divine inspiration and giving them
homework on the research of certain important biblical passages.

Example:
the longest verse in the Bible (John 11:35)
the shortest psalm
the hymn to the glory of Christ (Philippians 2:6-11)
CHAPTER 2. THE CREATION
Dear instructor, please note that this lesson is lengthy but contains a great deal of knowledge about
Divine health plan for humanity. Therefore, be alive in your presentations and never limit yourself.
to tell the biblical story very simply

I. ESSENCE OF GOD AND HIS WORKS: The living God in whom we believe is one.
to be spiritual, eternal and infinite, perfect, completely independent, which forms in
at the same time a Trinity. He is the creator of the earthly and heavenly worlds.
our faith in him is based on the reception of his wonderful creation, on these
manifestations and especially on our personal experiences in the field
of faith (please tell the children to also test GOD so that their
personal experiences also increase)
Our God manifests as a divine Trinity:
God the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. God existed before the beginning, Jesus was
begotten by God but never created and the Holy Spirit is the active force of God.
Give the children all the knowledge received from the apostolate on the divine Trinity
In the beginning, God created the Heaven and the earth, the Visible world (everything that we
we perceive with our five senses) and the invisible world (spiritual beings and the
spiritual domains) (Gen. 1:1). All creation was accomplished in 6 days and
man, the crown of creation was created on the 6theday (the most noble creature of
God), and the 7e On the day God rested (Explanations for children, the details about the
Creation see Gen. 1:1 to 2:7). Angels, for their part, are created spiritual beings.
for the service of God and men (Ps. 91:11-12, Heb. 1:14), sometimes visible (Gen.
19:1, Luke 1:28, Acts 10:30, Acts 12:5-...). There are also the angels of the Son of
the man Jesus, the ministers of God

II. WAYS AND MANIFESTATIONS OF GOD IN THE OLD ALLIANCE: The

The first humans were called Adam and Eve; they lived in the garden.
From Eden, they were blessed and God gave them the task under the following terms
Be fruitful, multiply, fill the earth and subdue it...
(Gen. 1:28). In this garden, God caused trees of every kind to grow.
in the middle of the garden two trees: the tree of the knowledge of good and evil and
the tree of life. To let them free to obey him, God gave them the

Misled by the devil disguised as a serpent, the first humans are
fallen into the sin of 'DISOBEDIENCE' towards God. (Explain)
the story, see Gen. 2:8 to 3:24).
From where this fall into sin led to the separation from God, this
the 'spiritual death' separation occurred immediately and is manifested by
fear and worry. Adam and Eve were no longer in communion with God,
they left the Garden of Eden and the path to the Tree of Life was guarded by a
archangel. Physical death only occurred later, but the goodness of God

to triumph over death (Gen. 3:15).

Adam knew Eve, and they had sons and daughters, but the Bible only mentions
three: CAIN (Cultivator), ABEL (Elevator) and SETH (Explain the story of
Cain and Abel to the children, see Gen. 4) The descendants of this 1ercouple from

to grow, but few led a pleasant life to God, we
we can mention :

ENOCH: lived a pious life in the fear of God. That is why God
he was taken from the Earth at the age of 365 years without having to know death
(Gen. 5:21-24). Through his life and his ascension, ENOCH has given us a
indication regarding the souls that, in accordance with the divine promise, must
to be transformed and the removal on the day of the Lord (1 Cor. 15:51-52, 1 Thess.

last, and all species of animals. He entered the ark 7 days
before the flood (a week). The flood was both the just consequence
the behavior of the contemporaries of Noah and also an act of Divine love
who wanted to protect humanity from an even greater depravity. From
our time, the Patriarch Apostle urges us to never be like the
people in the time of Noah, who ate, drank, married, and were given in marriage,
all of this was not a bad thing; but the greatest sin of these people is that they do not
doubted nothing. The indifference towards the word of God through its
servants are a great army that kills more than any army in the world and it
it should be avoided. In our time, the Ark of Noah is the symbol of the work of
redemption of Jesus Christ in the New Testament (Matt. 24:38-39, Heb.
11:7). (Explain the rest of the story, see Gen. 7 to 8). The descendants of
Noah cared less about the will of God, among them a man of the 9e
Generation after Sem led a pious life and believed in the eternal: This is ABRAM.
P.S.: Speak about the tower of Babel (Babel = confusion) whose concern for these people was to
make a name (Gen. 11:1-9) (see Review 10 of 1997).

loved a lot), daughter of his uncle Laban (Possible marriage according to their
customs) that gave her twelve children (including others from the

he reconciled with his brother Esau and fought until dawn with a
man in whom he knew the Lord. Jacob said to him: "I will not let you go

new "ISRAEL" = the one who wrestled with God and with men, and
who won. (Gen. 32:24-32). His eleven children sold their brother
Joseph as a slave to the Midianite (Ishmaelite) merchants who
they took him to Egypt. During their stay in the land of Canaan, the
famine drove them to go seek food in Egypt where they
met their brother Joseph, who thanks to the fear of God at

land of Goshen in Egypt. Due to the fear of God, Joseph becomes
a wide source of blessing from our young age

IV. PEOPLE OF ISRAEL IN EGYPT (From 1680 BC to 1250 BC): The people
Israel became a numerous and powerful people during the 450 years of its
stay in Egypt, to such an extent that after the death of Joseph and the pharaoh
In 1700, this people was mistreated but God remembered them to save from the
Egyptian tyranny under the leadership of Moses (see Ex. 1 to 4).

but there were more idolatries in Israel especially with ACHAB and JEZABEL,

In the time of the prophet Jeremiah, God promised to restore his covenant with Judah and Israel.
The last of the prophets was Malachi who lived 450 years B.C.
CHAPTER 3: JESUS CHRIST AND HIS MISSION
After the prophets, before the birth of Jesus Christ, divine service was formalistic, one
he limited himself to commenting on the law, so much so that there was love for the law, and one did not respect
than appearances during this celebration. From the various interpretations of the scriptures,
they were seeking religious shares:

Pharisees: sought to strictly apply the law while giving the impression of piety
particular and wanted to do it well in public
Sadducees: did not adhere to this part that a person of easy living, they rejected the doctrine
of the resurrection, and of a future judgment

Essenes: a peaceful order, people who led a withdrawn life, focused on observing
the law with scrupulously exactitude, rarely in public.

JOHN THE BAPTIST: Precursor of Jesus, promised by God and announced by the prophets since
ancient times (Isaiah, cf. Isaiah 40:3 and Malachi, cf. Malachi 3:1). He preached repentance
and announced the coming of the Messiah (Savior) (Luke 3:3-18) and the people recognized him as great
prophet. Many received his word and were baptized by him (Luke 3:3-18). The
the Pharisees, the doctors of the law, and the leaders of the people, for their part, believed less in

He baptized our Lord Jesus at the Jordan for the fulfillment of the word of God, did the
witness of the baptism of the Holy Spirit of Jesus by his Father and said to the others: 'Here is the Lamb
of God who takes away the sins of the world...>>, but later he even doubted Jesus. Jesus
who had designated him as the greatest man who was never born, treated him afterwards as

PUBLIC MINISTRY OF JESUS: TEACHING AND ACTIVITIES OF JESUS

He began teaching at the age of 30 in Galilee.ertask for
the fulfillment of his mission was the choice of his disciples who later became apostles
(=ambassadors) (Mat. 4:18-22, Luke 5:1-11). His activity lasted 3 years among the

sons of Zebedee, and John, his brother; Philip and Bartholomew; Thomas and Matthew,

Judas Iscariot (Matt. 10:2-4).
In 'his doctrine', whose great preaching was the Sermon on the Mount (Mat.
5-7), he announced the gospel, the good news of grace, love and
reconciliation manifested in him. He revealed the plan of divine salvation and the mystery of the
kingdom of God that are contained therein. His public activity was characterized by

Roman domination, which had power over illness, the wind...; unfortunately
his kingdom was not of this world. He who had brought the law of love was

When according to God's designs, the time had come, betrayed by Judas Iscariot, he

the creator was to return to the heavens with his father.
Given the danger that the world posed and poses to the chosen ones, Jesus promised his apostles the

on the disciples. (Acts 2:4)

sent by the father, the source of all Life

2. EFFECTS OF THE HOLY SPIRIT: By receiving the Holy Spirit, man receives

b. The Holy Spirit before Jesus Christ:

In the past, before the birth of Jesus, the Holy Spirit

descended upon the prophets, the judges, and other men that
God chose to accomplish a given and just work
after the mission, the Holy Spirit returned to Heaven. So, it is
in an episodic manner that he filled these men with
God. (1 Sam. 19:20-24; Ps. 51:12-14; Luke 1:67; 2:25-27).

4. THE APOSTLES: Christ first chose the disciples later to have given
his teaching at the beginning of his pastoral and apostolic career, he has
prayed and fasted on the mountain and in the morning he chose 12 from among the
disciples that he will call "apostles". (Luke 6:12-13)

In light of these precedents, the church of Christ could not begin

only after receiving the Holy Spirit, the apostles, the days of the

day more or less 3000 souls added to the others and formed
thus the first apostolic community. (Acts 2:37-41) and this
the community had remained united (Acts 2:42; 4:32). Its evolution was
prosperous, but as difficulties abound, the apostles
this time, conduits by the spirit of God sacrificed themselves body and soul and
they propagated the doctrine of Christ (Acts 4:4; 5:14).

Like the number of faithful crusaders, the twelve apostles

CHAPTER: EVOLUTION OF THE CHRISTIAN CHURCH UP TO THE 19TH CENTURY

During the first period of the Christian era, the apostles spread the gospel:
the apostle Peter preached to the Jews and Paul turned to the pagans (Greece, Rome, Asia,
Africa). Around the year 44 AD, during the reign of the Roman emperors, the church
Christianity experienced great persecutions, the apostle James died in 44 AD, killed.
by sword under the reigns of Herod Agrippa in Palestine; Paul and Barnabas went to
In Asia Minor to evangelize, Paul was even imprisoned in Rome where he would recount Onesimus.
for a recommendation to Philemon through the letter to Philemon, he preached the gospel then
he went to Spain. As for Peter, he went to Babylon, preached among the Jews. In 64 after
J-C, Paul would have been 'executed by Nero in Rome.' The apostle John worked in Asia Minor (in
Ephesus) where he wrote his gospel and the three epistles bearing his name. He was the only one to have
lived the longest. At the end of his life, stuck on the island of Patmos he received from the Lord
the apocalypse and died green in the year 100..
After the death of the apostle John, the last of the apostles, only the bishops and other ministers
served the communities but without apostolate to free the souls.

I. BIRTH OF THE CHURCH OF STATE

. In 306: Constantius was proclaimed king of Rome

. In 313: he signs a law prohibiting the persecution of
Christians and the part-Christian are becoming more and more
important that partpagan. He places a bishop, not instituted
by an Apostle at the head of each community.
. On May 20, 325, Constantine invited 314 bishops to a
assembly (Council of Nicaea), three articles are determined there:
belief in God, in Jesus Christ and in the Holy Spirit, and one
set the date of Easter. The communities adopted the
dogmas of the Council of Nicaea and formed everywhere of
the human erudition that sought to replace power
of the Holy Spirit, which was lacking:
In the East: Orthodox church
In the West: Roman Catholic Church (universal)
. Rome: capital of the Roman Empire, the bishop took the name
pope(=father), honorary title, he becomes sovereign
temporal, which leads to the formation of the state of the church
called VATICAN
. A BYSANCE: Residence of Constantn, the bishop took the name
of the Patriarch. Relying on the power of the State,
Christianity continued to gain new territories, the
the papacy imposed itself and even went as far as to crown emperors
and principles or even suspend them and this will lead to
up until the election of the pope by cardinals (bishops).
Thus, the Christian work had become an instrument of
power in the hands of men.
. In 622 AD: Birth of Islam with Muhammad who
future boat driver.
. Towards the year 1000: the popes raised crusades, that is-
to say struggles against Muslims to reconquer 'the
holy land" (Palatine, Jerusalem, Middle East) during
at least 200 years (there were a total of 4 crusades).

II. PERSECUTORS OF THE REFORM

Around 1300, 1350, 1400: Pope Boniface VII
establish a statement of faith: 'submission to the'
papacy, absolute condition for salvation.
In France, Germany, and Argentina, there were doubts about Christian Catholic fatigue.
modernized (by the Vaudois of Pierre Valdo, the Albigensians of the city of Albi, and Professor Jean)
WIVLEEF) and all were persecuted, some even burned alive in 1383 and 1400 ( professor
Jean and his partisans and Jérôme Savonarola, Dominican monk.
III. THE REFORM

1. Cause: Discontent caused by corruption of

clergy and certain discoveries of truths by studying the
Bible. At the beginning of the 16ecentury, the intolerable internal state
of the Roman Catholic Church triggered a
opposition movement that entered history under
the name of 'reform'
2.REFORMER: In 1500 AD
In Germany: Martin Luther: Catholic monk
in Germany, Therese displayed 95 against the church
of state, excommunicated by Pope Leo X and end to
the origin of the Protestants (From 1483: 1546) –
Melanchthon (1497-1560).
In Switzerland and France: - ZWINGLI: around 1500 in
ZURICH (Switzerland). Request for deletion of
certain practices in the State church.
- Jean Calvain: In 1564, in France, very severe, was hated and himself
back to Strasbourg; then to Genesis.
- In England and Scotland: - Grammer (1489-1556) Knox
(1505, 1572) and Fox (1624-1691)

In reform sparked fierce disputes with the papacy and the peasants. And
long and bloody wars followed. The result of this long struggle for the
doctrine forms a deep confessional schism in the so-called Christian states. Next to
a Protestant church emerged alongside Catholic and Orthodox churches that, in turn,
it is divided into different trends. This reform leads to the progressive abolition of
grossest abuses of spiritual powers and to the greatest concession
freedom of faith and thought.

IV. THE COUNTER-REFORMATION:

Within the Catholic Church, the Jesuits were formed (1534). Counter-reformers.
prepare for the city. And the Capuchins (1525), Counter-Reformers prepare for the
campaign
V. AFTER COUNTER REFORM UNTIL RESUSCITATION
THE GIFTS OF THE SPIRIT IN THE 19TH CENTURY

The church, always divided and torn, has transmitted a nostalgia through the centuries.
generation in generation by a few faithful and strong in faith men, who aspired to see
reappear the life that had sprung up in the first apostolic church on the day of Pentecost
and who had inflamed the faithful. Making them capable of sacrificing even their lives. We
we can briefly mention: Philippe, Nicolas, Joseph, Jude, Brigite, James Leader, Isaac
Newton, Manuel Lacunes,... Eminent personalities of the 17th, 18th, and 19th centuries of our era,
mentioned above. Laypeople and scholarly ecclesiastics probed the holy scriptures
(Isaiah 24:26, Joel 2:23, Amos 3:11) and these searches awakened the burning desire to see
to produce a new outpouring of the Holy Spirit, this is how in Germany (In Bavaria) and
In England, there was an awakening of the gifts of the spirit. On October 20, 1832, by prophet, Henri
Drummond, became a shepherd by the prophet and by the power of the Holy Spirit, called CAIRD as
