Profile of The Educator
Profile of The Educator
Teachers, in response to the demands of the present and future world, must develop
a set of skills and attitudes to achieve meaningful learning.
From this set of skills, several stand out, such as: thinking, creating,
design, solve, interact, manage, use, produce and communicate. All this with the
end of working, studying, and building visions in a team, self-evaluations,
commitments and sharing.
The teacher must be a leader who has the ability to model their
students, to be creative and intellectual, and furthermore, to inspire the students for the
search for the truth.
Generally speaking, it can be said that the teacher must demonstrate characteristics
of leadership, in which one must have a vision for the future and know how to communicate it,
a vision of innovative and advanced education, that is, assuming the
new paradigms and their implications.
The Bolivarian Educational System reviews that the Teacher Profile is very broad, and

not as something everyday and routine, but as a continuous experience and renewing experience,
otherwise it becomes a "torment" for anyone, where far from

One must show great respect for oneself and for others. Establish a good

It should promote the active participation of students and provide spaces for them to
they make their own decisions, stimulating the investigative spirit and the
student autonomy. It should also be able to capture the different messages that
the student transmits, responding to their interests favoring communication
with him.
To conclude, it should be noted that the models have changed together with
society, consequently the profile of the educator has turned around
such that it is presented as a figure of support for the student, ceasing to be the
the only tool that the student has when becoming a promoter
towards research, self-development, and participation.
In such a way that an educator must not forget that part of their role is to serve as
model in many acquisitions of the student (for example language and manners) by
what must care for their performance and attitudes towards him.
For these reasons, an educator is no longer just a provider of a subject, but rather shapes
part of a project, of some values, of a way of being and feeling. To be

Teachers, although they have been the subject of excellent analyses, have also been
object of stereotypical descriptions.

Not all teachers are under scrutiny, as there are those who carry
the profession in their veins and are constantly researching to achieve imparting
a meaningful learning experience for students; not hindering their progress with the bad
remuneration, social conflicts, the various problems for which
they face daily the relationships that professional groups establish with
