HEALTHY EATING

Nutrition:
A healthy diet consists of consuming a variety of foods that provide you
the nutrients you need to stay healthy, feel good, and have energy. These
nutrients include proteins, carbohydrates, fats, water, vitamins and
the minerals.
Feeding is the action and effect of feeding or being fed, that is to say, it is a process
through which living beings consume different types of food to obtain

However, there is a diversity of similar or related words, such as nutrition,
food, nutrients are words related to the term of nutrition but
they are not synonyms, therefore, they do not mean the same thing.

surviving and subsisting, on the other hand, food refers to the process of consuming the
foods that will later provide nutrients to the body.

What is a food pyramid?


The food pyramid, dietary pyramid, or also called nutritional pyramid, is
a graphic reference of the quantity of the different food groups that we should
consume daily to stay healthy.
In nutrition, the food pyramid is a reference to the proportion that our body
needs to maintain a healthy and balanced diet. Daily intake is recommended.
