EMPLOYEMNT CONTRACT AGREEMENT

IN THE MATTER OF EMPLOYMENT

BETWEEN

INSIGNIA AFRICA LIMITED


(Herein referred to as - EMPLOYER

AND
Shekhawat Himmat Singh ,
Wno.6 Vill – Post – Beri Via Pilanteh,Chirawajhunjhunu, Rajasthan- INDIA.
(Herein referred to as ---- EMPLOYEE)

WHEREAS the EMPLOYER is desirous of engaging the INSIGNIA AFRICA LIMITED


Plot # 36875, Kafue Road,Lusaka - Zambia

AND WHEREAS the EMPLOYEE is willing and ready to provide his services as Operation
Manager Subject to terms as herein agreed below.

Terms of Agreement;

• This agreement is initially made for the period of 24 months minimum. In case, if work
permit validity is beyond Two Years from the date of joining at indo fresh enterprise ltd.,
employee has to continue his services till the validity of work permit

• During the contract period the employer will provide:


• Food /breakfast/tea / milk etc.
• Primary Medical assistance and expenses through company doctor. Medicines for
any long term diseases will not be reimbursed.
• Full medical expenses with paid leave in case of accident in Zambian Hospital.
• Semi furnished shared accommodation in case of single.
• Independent house if the employee is married.

• During the contract your services will be governed by existing company rules, and any
other changes made in the company rules, by the employer

• Upon signing the employment contract agreement, the employer will provide air ticket
(economy class), visa charges and transport arrangement to report on duty.

• Likewise on completion of employment contract period ,the employer will provide air
ticket (economy class) back to the employee’s home country

• During contract period, if the employee wants to go back to INDIA, or the employer
relives him off his duties, and the employee is asked to go back (due to any gross
misconduct/fraud or illegal action), the employee will be liable to pay all the expenses
incurred by company starting from his interview till date of leaving Zambia.

• The employer will withhold two (2) Months’ Salary for Security Deposit

• If employee wants to terminate the contract, he/she has to serve the employer with three
(3) months’ notice in advance or deposit three (3) months’ salary in lieu of notice. Such
type of contract termination is allowed only in case of emergency with prior approval and
in genuine case only with specific condition.

• That employee will not take any other employment in Zambia whilst working for the
employer.

• If the employee wants to terminate the contract, he has to serve the company with three
(3) months’ notice in advance or deposit three (3) months’ salary in lieu of notice. Such
type of contract termination is only allowed in case of emergency wit prior approval and
in genuine case under specific condition that the employee will not take any other
employment in Zambia.

• The total emoluments agreed are as CTC. Therefore no other payment like
overtime/bonus will be paid by company. However appreciation amount may be given
for outstanding performance.

• Employment is given as expatriate and apart from your duty hours, you will be deemed
responsible for 24 hrs. Refusal or not attending to duty when called /required will be
treated as misconduct and insubordination.

• The behaviour and attitude of the employee during in & off duty hours has to be well
mannered, without any prejudice and should always be supportive to company activities.
ANY type of involvement in illegal activities or indiscipline behaviour will result in
termination of this contract & company can recover all the incurred losses.

• Employees who are coming first time to Modern Millers Ltd have to deposit the cost of
one return ticket from India to Zambia as a security deposit , which will be returned back
to employee on completion of contract.

• Employee will be paid ZMW 204,000/- PER ANNUM for this contract period.
All payables will be paid in Indian or Zambian currency

• Employee's passport will remain with company authorities during the contract period for
safety and security.

• ANY dispute related to this contract will be considered in Zambian court only.

• Job description given to EMPLOYEE is a brief description of job title but employee will
be solely responsible for all the related activities.
• All the rules and regulations which is adopted by company during contract period will be
applicable.

conditions and agree to abide by this contract.

I am signing this agreement without any prejudice or pressure from anyone and I am requesting
that a work permit be acquired for me from the Zambian immigration dept.
