Materials:

Fine yarn in skin tone, black, white, red, dark blue, and brown

Crochet hook compatible with your yarn (usually 2.5mm–3.5mm for amigurumi)

Safety eyes (preferably large and black for expressiveness)

Fiberfill or suitable stuffing material

Embroidery floss for facial features and details

Head:

In skin-toned yarn, create a magic ring with 6 sc (6 sts)

Increase (inc) in each stitch around (12 sts)

Using dark blue yarn, create a magic ring with 6 sc (6 sts)

In BLO, sc around (24 sts) – this will create a fold line for the jacket
6–8. Change to white yarn for the shirt and sc around (24 sts for 3 rounds)

3–8. Sc around (9 sts for 6 rounds)

Change to white yarn for cuffs, sc around (9 sts)

Change to dark blue, sc around for jacket sleeves (9 sts).


Finish off, leaving a tail for sewing. Stuff lightly.

Legs and Boots (Make 2):

With black yarn, create a magic ring with 6 sc (6 sts)

Inc in each st around (12 sts)

(Sc in next st, inc) around (18 sts)

In BLO, sc around (creates a rim for the boots) (18 sts)


5–7. Sc around (18 sts for 3 rounds)

9–13. Change to brown yarn for the pants, sc around (12 sts for 5 rounds).

Hat (Tricorn Style):

With black yarn, ch enough to fit around the head, join to form a ring without
twisting the chain

Sc in each ch around

Working in rounds, start shaping the hat by increasing at three points to create
the tricorn points

Once the base shape is achieved, work in rows back and forth, decreasing at the end
of each row to form the flaps of the tricorn
