UPCYCLING GARMENT PROJECT PLAN

II. Objective: To produce a unique upcycling product using old polo.

V: Procedure

CROP TOP
 For the desired outfit, take an exact body measurement.
 Cut the polo’s body in half, using the upper half for the crop top and the lower
for a skirt.
 The polo's sleeve, pocket, and placket should be removed after it has been cut
in half.
 Using the running stitch, fold the armhole and begin sewing it back to front.
 In stitching the hem, fold it over and use the running stitch to sew it back to
back.
SKIRT
 Remove the loose thread
 Figure out your exact measurement of your waist, high hip and hip line.
 Fold the waist at least an inch, and then begin sewing.
 The skirt’s left side should be tucked beneath the right side.
 Affix the hook and eye to the side of the waist.
