Ruby and Spike go on a safari. They are in a car.. Ruby has binoculars.
Ruby says “ Oh , spike I can see a zebra.” Spike says:” A zebra? Where?
I can’t see a zebra.”
Spike give the binoculars to spike. Ruby says :” Look.” Spike says :”
Thank you.”
Spike look by binoculars . He see a zebra. He says :” I can see a zebra. I
can see….Otto.”
Spike is frightened.
Ruby is frightened too. She says : “ I can see Otto too.” Ruby is
frightened too.
Ruby says :” Run Spike . Run.”
Ruby and Spike run to house.

Daisy and Jack are in the sitting room . Jack is behind the sofa. Jack has
a puppet lion . He says : Hello. I’m Lenny lion.”
Daisy look at Lenny lion and says :” Hello, I’m Daisy.”
Jack says :” Good-bye.” Daisy waves goodbye and says :” Oh ! Good-
bye.”
Jack again says :” Hello and good-bye!”
Jack asks :” Can you see me Daisy ?” Daisy go behind the sofa points to
Jack and says :” Yes , Jack!”

Ruby and Ruby’s friends are in the school. They are in the classroom.
Tina is a new student . She come to the class. Ruby introduce Tina and
says :” Look , It’s Tina.” Tina sys hello to everyone in the classroom.
Ruby show Tina’s chair to Tina and says :” This is your table Tina.” Tina
says Thank you to Ruby.
Spike show Spike’s chair to Tina and says :” This is my Table Tina.” Tina
look at Spike’s table.
Ruby show Tina’s chair to Tina and says :” And this is your chair.” Spike
goes on Spike’s chair and says: “ And this is my chair . Look!”
Spike stand on the chair and sing. He fall of the chair.
Ruby laugh and says :” And this is my friend spike.”

Daisy and Polly are in the house .Polly wear a skirt and glasses. She is a
teacher. Polly and Daisy play Teacher game. Polly draw three cars on
the board and asks Daisy : How many cars ? Daisy look at the board but
she says : I don’t know.”
Jack is behind the chest and gives number three to Daisy. Daisy give
number three to Polly .Polly says :” Yes . Three.”
Polly draw five hats on the board and asks :” How many hats?” Jack give
number 5 to Daisy. Polly is shocked and says :” Five – Yes ! Very good ,
Daisy!

Daisy go to chest and point to Jack. Daisy says : “ No , Very good jack!”
Polly says :” Oh , Jack!”

Otto, Spike, Ruby and Tina are in the dining room. Otto is asleep on the
chair. Spike , Ruby and Tina are sitting on the chair. There is some
cheese and some bread on the table. Ruby , Spike and Tina see cheese
and yogurt on the table.
Spike says:” Ooh. Look on the table.” Ruby says :” mmm. Cheese!”
Tina says :” I’m hungry.” Spike says :” I’m hungry, too.”
Spike point to cheese and asks :” Do you like cheese Tina?” Tina
says :” Oh, yes.”
Spike says:” Ok . watch this.” Spike jump on table.
Spike fall in the yogurt pot.
Ruby laugh at Spike and asks: “ Do you like yogurt Spike?”
Spike answers: “ No ,I don’t.”
Otto wake up , he laugh at Spike too.

Dad and Jack are in the kitchen. Dad cook .Dad asks Jack :” Do you like
soup?” Jack look at tomato soup and says :” oh yes! Great!”
Dad cut tomatoes and jack put tomatoes in the pot.
Dad asks Daisy :” Do you like soup Daisy?” Daisy answers:” Yes!”
Daisy go to cabinet and take a pot . she sings : “ Soup !Soup! Yummy
soup!”
Daisy sit on the floor. Otto sit on the floor next to Daisy. Daisy mix
orange juice and milk in the pot.
Daisy take a Packet of pasta and add it to orange juice and milk in the
pot.
The floor is dirty. Daisy go to dad and show the pot to dad. She says :”
Look, dad! Soup!” Dad look at it and says :” Thank you!”

Unit 4
Ruby , Spike and Tina are in the house . Otto come and knock on the
door. H e says : “ Hello. I’m a mouse.”
Ruby is shocked and asks :” A mouse?” Otto answers :” Yes. And I have
big ears,”
Spike points to Spike’s tail asks: “ Do you have a tail ?” Otto answers :”
Yes , I have a tail.”
Tina points to Tina’s teeth and asks :” And big teeth?” Otto answers :”
Oh yes !I have big teeth.”
Spike opens the door , touches Spike’s nose and asks : “ Do you have a
pink nose ?” Otto answers:” Yes, I have a pink nose.”
Ruby open the door and throws a pillow to Otto.

Unit 4 Reading

Dad , Polly and mom are in the kitchen. Jack come to kitchen and points
to Jack’s face. He says : “ I have spots on my face. “ Dad is shocked.
Jack show Jack’s hands to dad and says : “I have spots on my hands. “
Jack shows Jack’s tommy to dad and says : “I have spots on my
Tommy.”
Mom takes Jack to the sink , she turn on the tap and says : “Wash your
hands and face Jack.”
Daisy come to kitchen . She has a red marker. She says:” I have spots
too.”

Unit 5
Ruby and Tina are in the house. Spike come and open the door. He is
excited. He says : “Ruby , Tina come and look.”
Ruby and Tina hear an animal. They are frightened. Tina asks : “Is it
Otto?” Ruby answers : “ I don’t know.”
They hear an animal roars. Tina asks :” Is it a tiger?” Ruby answers: “ I
don’t know.” They are very frightened.
They hear a snake hisses. Ruby is very frightened and asks :” Oh , no. Is
it a snake?” Tina answers :”I don’t know. “ She says : “ Oh , Ruby, where
is Spike?”
Ruby and Tina open the door and look in the living room . They see
Spike. He is watching television. He laughs and says:” Come on. “ Ruby
says :” Oh, it’s a television. “
Ruby , Spike and Tina watch television.

Unit 5 Reading
Dad sits on the armchair. He is in the living room. He reads newspaper.
Otto sleeps on Dad’s lap .Dad’s phone rings. He can’t find the phone. He
looks for the phone on the armchair. It’s not on the armchair.

Dad asks Jack : “ Where is my phone Jack?” Jack answers: “ Is it on the

table?”
Dad’s phone rings .Dad looks for the phone on the table. It’s not on the
table. Jack points to Dad’s bag and asks :” Is it in your bag? “
Dad open the bag . It’s not in the bag. Dad’s phone rings. Dad is worried
. Dad is angry.
Polly points to dad’s pocket and says :” Look , it’s in your pocket.”
Dad answers the phone.
Unit 6
Polly , Jack and Daisy are in the garden. It’s summer time. It’s hot. Polly
is under the tree. She drinks orange juice. Jack sits under the tree . He
drinks orange juice too. Daisy is playing in the pool. Otto sleeps in the
tree.
Jack says :” I’m hot. I’m wearing my T-shirt, my shorts and my
sneakers.”
Polly says :” I’m hot. I’m wearing my hat , my dress and my sandals.”

Unit 6 Reading

It’s hot. Ruby and Tina sit under the sunshade on the chair. Spike come.
He is wearing a sun hat. Ruby points to Spike and asks :” What are you
wearing Spike ?” Spike answers : “ I’m wearing my sun hat.”
Tina says:” Take off your sun hat Spike! “ Spike says : “ No, I like my sun
hat. “
Ruby says : “ But Spike can you see ?” Spike answers :” Yes ! “
Tina is worried and says : “ Be careful ,Spike! “
Spike run and hit a vase.
Ike fall down and a flower is on his head Ruby and Tina laugh at Spike.
Tina points to Spike and asks : “ What are you wearing now , Spike?”

their car. Their car is yellow.
Mom shouts: “oh, Where is my bag?” dad stop the car and mom go to
home and take her bag.
Polly thinks and shouts:” oh, where is my tiger?” Dad is angry and says:”
Oh, Polly.” Dad stop the car and Polly go to home and take her tiger.
Dad drive again. Jack shouts:” Where is my book? Dad stop, stop!”
Daisy is sad and Polly says:” Oh, Jack !”
Jack go to home and take his book.
Dad drives again. Dad says:” Oh no, where is my toothbrush?”
